One Night Bride: Master Blackwood's Substitute Wife

Chapter 594: Should the Child Be Brought Before Ivy Kensington?

Chapter 594: Should the Child Be Brought Before Ivy Kensington?

Owen Rhodes hurriedly rushed in from outside the hospital, with an unusually grave expression on his face.He hadn’t expected to receive a courier with a baby at the Blackwood Group!

A baby about two months old was placed in a cardboard box, wrapped in a small blanket. Its little face was chubby and looked rather cute.

However, the baby did not cry, and upon lifting the blanket, they saw a deformed arm!

The entire secretarial staff was startled.

How could a baby show up here?

Owen Rhodes learned of the news, and was the first to examine it, finding a birth certificate inside.

It was the child of Ivy Kensington!

"Master Blackwood, I’ve already brought the child over. It’s in the car outside."

Owen spoke hesitantly, looking conflicted.

Upon hearing this, Sharon Langley ran forward excitedly.

"It must be Ivy’s child! Evan Lowell returned Ivy’s child!"

At least Evan had some conscience and did not keep using the child as leverage.

Sharon continued, "I’ll go with you to get the child."

Seeing her excitement, Owen wanted to say something but ultimately just nodded silently.

Once Miss Langley saw, perhaps she would understand why Evan returned the child.

Sharon and Owen went outside together, and in the back seat of the black Maybach lay a baby.

Sharon rushed forward, picking up the child.

"Baby, I’m your godmother Sharon."hat wasn’t aborted?

A sharp, indescribable pain spread in his heart.

Owen commented bitterly, "Master Blackwood, besides this, there are other examination reports. Due to premature birth, the child’s brain is not fully developed, has no sense of pain, and cannot normally express feelings."

In other words, the child is likely to be mentally disabled!

Upon hearing this, Sharon bit her lip hard, tears gradually welling up in her eyes.

Is this the child Ivy fought so hard to give birth to?

Why did it have to be like this...

Ginny, Cody, and Ronnie are all so healthy, and yet this child...

Sharon felt an indescribable sadness in her heart. She dared not imagine how devastated Ivy would be if she knew her long-awaited child was so incomplete.

"Master Blackwood, should the child be taken to Miss Kensington?"

After much deliberation, Owen asked.

No matter what, the child was born to Ivy, and she has the right to know everything.
