Chapter 574: Exploding The Demon City.

Hao Ren fought crazily and his hair were fluttering around in the wind as if he was the god of wind but on his forehead their was just some sweat. He was not even out of breath at the moment and he didn’t know how many merit points he had acquired after slaughtering the demons. Just when he was about to pull back thinking that the Demon Generals would not come out because they had so much canon fodder to use, a loud roar echoed in the surroundings and the rest of the demons pulled back.

Hao Ren was surprised but then he chuckled and took a few deep breaths to calm his mind and energy, and then a huge figure landed before him. The young man raised his head to look at the person and then he remarked, "Hey, how come you have four hands and the rest have only two?"

The demon general snorted and said, "Why should I tell a dead human rat like you? Die!"

As soon as he said this, the Demon General made a punch towards Hao Ren, who raised his own fist. In comparison to the ten feet tall demon general, Hao Ren was looking tiny but then a sliver of yellow flickered around his fist and the two punches collided together. The huge impact caused the ground to ripple and Hao Ren took three steps back, while his enemy was shocked, even though the latter was standing firmly in his position, he remarked, "Amazing, you are the first rat who survived that."

Hao Ren sighed and said, "Man, but you failed to survive that."

The Demon raised his brow and then he looked at his fist carefully. Earlier he thought that it was just numb, but now he realized that the punch from Hao Ren had somehow disintegrated his fist to ashes. Yes, the yellow flash earlier was just a hint of the spiritual fire inside Hao Ren, and it directly erased the fist of the demon general.

Hao Ren clicked his tongue and said, "To think I thought you would give me a strong and tough fight after the ages it has been. Well, whatever, begone!"

The next moment, he waved his hand and a cloud of flame appeared out of nowhere and burned the demon general to ashes even before he could say anything. Hao Ren said, "You all shall accompany your general now."

He made a seal and said, "River of Flames."

A flame appeared around him and it began to flow forward, it surrounded the entire city in just a few minutes, and none of the demons who tried to brave it and attack Hao Ren managed to survive, and then Hao Ren said, "Flame Tsunami."

The river erupted as if a dormant volcano coming to life and it charged at the demons, completely engulfing them within the flames. The demons wailed and screamed but they were helpless. The flames of a phoenix were not something they could counter, and the demon generals in the city were alerted, they all came out of the rooms and halls, to look around and witnessed the complete scene of carnage.

One of the demon generals looked around and then his gaze locked on to Hao Ren, as he yelled, "It is that human. He must have used some trick to cause this damage. Come, kill him with me."

Hao Ren chuckled as he heard this and yelled back loudly, "Come, you inbred cowards."

He took out the Chaos sword and his sword intent was unleashed in its full glory. Hao Ren was not in the mood of holding back at all. He was going to kill all he could and then go back, he was sure that if these people dared to chase him, then the rest of the Ye Generals would step up and as a group they would bully these demons into free merit points.

The demon generals charged at Hao Ren but they were moving above the flame tsunami, geysers of flame shot up in the sky, ofcourse, this was all because Hao Ren was controlling the flames. The demon generals could tell that they cannot match these geysers so they all rushed away but Hao Ren used this to his advantage, his sword moved and a saint halo materialized behind his back. The void was cut apart by his attacks, and the demon generals had no chance to counter before they died.

Hao Ren killed around dozens of Demon Generals in just a few seconds, and he didn’t wish to stop. His heavenly stones were spinning at a high speed they were turning the spiritual energy into true essence for Hao Ren’s usage but even though they could not keep up with his intensity of attack. Hao Ren was beginning to feel tired and so, he took out a talisman and flicked it towards the demon city. Then the flames rose up into high walls that might drown the entire city. The demon generals stopped and one of them yelled, "This is way beyond us, we need to inform Commander Skull."

However, before they could find skull, the flames vanished leaving around two hundred demon generals flying in the void. Hao Ren had taken out most of their demon soldiers, leaving them to guard the city and just one Demon Commander. The power distribution in the two races was almost similar to what it was like in the human cities. The commander rank expert was the supreme commander, and Hao Ren was not yet eager to go and visit the Demon Commander and fight with him. This was suicide, and he was not a fool to do that.

After the flames vanished the demon generals realized that Hao Ren had ran away, and they all roared in rage. Inside the demon city a fragile looking demon opened his eyes and mumbled, "The Saint have appeared again. Things are getting interesting."

Hao Ren had no idea that he had been identified by an undying old antique. As he was running away from the city, the system said, ’You, coward. What’s up.’

Hao Ren replied, "Just because I retreated logically that makes me a coward? Do you want me to become the Omnipotent husband or just a dead husband?"

The system replied, ’I don’t mind either, but if you died then I would have to latch onto someone else and then Han Lingshi would go to that man."

Hao Ren asked calmly, ’System when do you think it would be possible for you to come out of my mind?’

The system asked, ’Why are you asking?"

Hao Ren shook his head and replied, "Oh nothing, I just wanted to see what parasites look like. I mean I have never seen a flea like you."

The system asked, ’Is it me or these days you have been getting a bit too cocky with me?’

Hao Ren replied, ’If you want to blame someone for that, blame the guy on the other side of this world.’

System said, ’Indeed, it is the author’s fault for giving birth to you.’

The two people heard the clouds thundering and they fell silent. Hao Ren asked, ’So, how do I manage to comprehend the Dao of Slaughter.’

The system replied, ’You have to immerse yourself in the fights, and that is when you will find the Dao of Slaughter.’

Hao Ren sat down on top of a hill, and then he faced the direction where the demon city was located and he asked, ’Does that mean, I have to kill these things with my own hands?’

The system replied, ’Yes, it would be better if you fought people stronger than you. So, I would suggest that you can try to seal your cultivation and rely on your physical abilities. You would still be able to use your refinement saint halo, that way your movements would become even faster and the damage you will carry in the attacks would be crazy. I think twice stronger than what you were doing in the last fight.’

Hao Ren nodded and said, ’The math adds up, but look over there, the sun is setting and in five, four, three, two, one.’

BOOM!

The ground began to shake as a huge mushroom rose up from the direction of the demon city, and the system asked, ’What did you do?’

Hao Ren replied, ’Nothing, left a talisman there that was wrapped around one of the space rings that held some of the failed pill experiments from Agnee. She told me that these things are very unstable and if they are left together, they would explode. So I sealed them inside a space ring using the nirvana lock talisman, and just when I was escaping, I tossed it in the flames, with the talisman burning in the flames, the ring became a bomb ready to take away everything within its range.’

The system asked, ’How is that even possible? Usually the space ring just implodes, no?"

Hao Ren smiled and replied, ’Well, yes, it does, but I designed it in a manner that without a restriction it would just vomit things out.’

The system sighed and said, ’You have a knack for destruction that is for sure.’

Hao Ren smiled and ran his hand through his hair as he said, ’Well, I learned from the author.’
