Chapter 1343 728: The End (Part 2)
Chapter 1343 728: The End (Part 2)
Another shot hit Victoria's leg. This is Alejandro's prey. If there's a chance, it's definitely better to offer him a living person as a gift than a corpse.
After firing, Jimmy came out from the door. The five people in the distance also heard the gunfire and were approaching the factory gate in an arc. He would be at a disadvantage inside.
Jimmy took a running start outside, grabbed the wall quietly, and lay on top, watching the people in front. Once they were all within Heart Eye Vision range and there were no covers around to dodge, he ambushed them. Except for one person who dodged in time and wasn't killed on the spot, the other four were shot in the head and fell to the ground.
Although the one who dodged a headshot, Jimmy did make some gain at least. He hit the shoulder, as the person reached to touch his right shoulder when hiding. He responded by firing suppressive shots toward Jimmy's direction, even without a clear sight.
After shooting, Jimmy climbed down the wall, glanced at Seventeen, ensuring they hadn't run. He then ran towards the factory gate, snuck inside. The person hiding couldn't anticipate Jimmy's shot due to his X-ray vision. Once dealt with, Jimmy returned to the door, saying, "No one will bother us now."
Seventeen gritted his teeth in pain, looking at Jimmy: "Let me go, I can give you many things."
Jimmy walked in, saying: "You still don't understand. I'm not here for you but for others at home. Speak up. Your injuries won't kill you immediately."
Seventeen: "I was captured, tortured and interrogated. I just didn't want to die and temporarily agreed to them. I didn't betray my family."
Jimmy: "What did you tell them?"
Seventeen: "That dock and some gang information."
Jimmy: "Not enough."
Seventeen paused, looking towards Victoria. Ever since Jimmy and Seventeen started talking, Victoria hadn't moved. She just pressed her thigh near the gunshot to slow the bleeding. Such wounds still allowed some mobility, but in front of a sharpshooter like Jimmy, trying to move slowly was a joke. So she resigned herself to wait.
Seventeen: "I joined her gang."
Indeed, last time Seventeen, fearing imprisonment, revealed his undercover identity to a federal prosecutor without alerting the FBI. This time, captured, he joined a subordinate gang of the Sinaloa Group. He's an unsafe element. If he returns to the FBI, who knows what might unfold, possibly implicating Ruiz and others. As a friend, Jimmy naturally doesn't want this.
He thought for a moment, looking at Seventeen: "I understand, Seventeen. Give yourself and your family a chance, a chance to clear their names. End it yourself."
Seventeen struggled to sit up, holding his right arm with his left, looking at Jimmy: "Can't you give me one more chance? I will confess everything to the others."
Jimmy: "You know me. Give yourself some dignity."
Seventeen sighed deeply, then nodded at Jimmy, "I understand. Can you take me to a place? Maybe others finding my body there would be better."
Jimmy: "Of course, tell me."
Seventeen pointed at Victoria: "Her villa."
Finally, Victoria spoke, having understood everything. "The viper" Seventeen relied on her side, but the syndicate he originally pledged loyalty to tracked him down, sending this super assassin to Mexico to save Seventeen, indicating Seventeen's high value. She wasn't wrong recruiting him.
But now his betrayal had been confirmed by this butcher of an assassin; he must die, as the butcher clearly stated, for his family.
Seventeen's words shifted the topic to Victoria. If Seventeen died in her villa, she'd be implicated. Knowing the assassin's style, she might not escape, "Butcher, right? What do you want? I can offer you a lot."
Jimmy glanced at his watch. He'd delayed long enough. Victoria wasn't his initial target, holding no interest, "Alright, do you know the place? We can start now."
Seeing Jimmy had no intention of engaging her, Victoria grew anxious, "I can offer you money, lots of money."
Jimmy approached, punching Victoria in the head, knocking her out instantly. He tied her hands behind her back with zip ties, then did the same with Seventeen. After confirming they had no weapons, he told Seventeen: "Let's go, I'm short on time."
He helped Seventeen up, guiding him to the car. Seventeen said: "The explosion at the club ahead..."
Jimmy: "Yes, the DEA and Juarez police suffered heavy losses. I was there too."
Seventeen: "I'm sorry."
Jimmy said nothing, aiding Seventeen into the car's back seat: "You should apologize to Ruiz the most."
With a "slam," the door shut. Jimmy dragged Victoria over, placing her on the other side of the back seat, then drove off. Seventeen resigned, directed Jimmy to their original route, continuing southeast of Juarez to reach a remote villa, surrounded by high walls.
Seventeen: "Careful, there are still a few people inside."
Jimmy: "Don't worry."
Arriving at the gate, Jimmy honked. Seeing their boss's car return, the people inside immediately pressed the door opener, then stepped outside the guardroom. Jimmy drove in, "bang," finishing the guard with one shot, then proceeded to the main villa.
"Wait here a moment." Jimmy exited the car and walked into the main villa. "Bang, bang," gunshots echoed. After a while, Jimmy returned, helping Seventeen inside. With Seventeen guiding, they found a basement, "Chain me up here. I was interrogated here before."
Jimmy placed Seventeen in a corner, chaining him with a collar, leaving only his left hand free.
"Alright, give me a gun, you should go now."
Jimmy placed a gun he picked up on the ground, kicked it to Seventeen, then left the basement.
A deep "bang" echoed, and Jimmy sighed, returning to the basement to confirm Seventeen's death. He picked up the gun, placed it in the hands of a gang member he killed, dragging the corpse outside the basement. Camouflaged slightly, though blood trails easily indicated he didn't die here, it was temporarily sufficient.
Jimmy could let Seventeen commit suicide, but the conclusion had to be that the gang shot him. This ensured a proper resolution, proving the undercover agent's loyalty, allowing his family to receive due compensation.
Standing in the hall, Jimmy took in the surroundings, hesitating slightly. If Victoria were sent alive to Alejandro, their conversation would be exposed, and Seventeen's surrender to the gang would become known—both liabilities.
Sorry, Alejandro, but Victoria can't be sent to you.
Jimmy dragged Victoria out, placing her on a chair in the room. After a simple search of the villa, ensuring three servants were locked in a room, he shot Victoria dead, untied the zip ties, took them away, and drove off.
Victoria's vehicle contained some bloodstains. Jimmy didn't bother cleaning up. He drove to a deserted area without plants, opened the door, fired a few shots to wreck the gas tank, lit a cigarette, and set it ablaze when gasoline spilled out, then left the scene.
