North America Gunman Detective

Chapter 1325 720: The Cause

Chapter 1325 720: The Cause

Although the case was initiated by Jimmy and Steven, they didn't involve themselves much in the detailed investigation, mainly because the case discovered this time was too big.

Jimmy didn't go back to the hotel to rest at night; he just found a place to nap at the FBI office. It was only during the meeting the next morning that he learned how many good things the forensic department and other field investigators found at that club.

A few bags of marijuana, along with many already rolled cigarettes, these items are perfect for use as inducements. Usually, many people are attracted and then increase their dosage, beginning to consume and inject more addictive drugs. In the United States, from students to adults, quite a few people are familiar with this process, which is also one of the reasons for the decreasing age of drug users.

A few kilograms of methamphetamine, already pre-packaged into small bags suitable for direct sale. Clearly, these goods weren't packaged at the club but were brought in after being packaged elsewhere. No packaging workshop was found on site. The purity of these methamphetamines hasn't been confirmed yet; it requires lab testing to be clear. The DEA experts have been contacted and will soon enter into work mode.

In the basement, there's a finance room where two people were caught counting cash, re-organizing the cash and sealing them with strips, along with a large amount of loose cash. The quantity hasn't been sorted out yet and still needs organizing. They didn't run away because the finance room could only be opened from the outside, apparently to prevent any mischief from the people inside. The people inside couldn't open the door, and when the FBI and SWAT rushed in, they were hiding in the corner and readily admitted their work.

There was a considerable amount of cash and all sorts of random things in the casino. It won't be a short time until the entire building is cleaned up, especially with the possible hidden spaces, more manpower is likely needed.

A weapons cache containing numerous firearms and ammunition like pistols, rifles, shotguns; most of them were ghost guns with obliterated serial numbers. Additionally, a few handguns were recovered from the security personnel and the shootout scene. Jimmy and his team also turned in the handguns seized from the security personnel.

Three underage technical staff, two of whom were found having had sexual intercourse on the night, both of them were found in the upstairs rooms, hiding under the beds and in corners. Fortunately, they were not caught in the shootout. The last one was in a small room in the basement and was rescued by the agents.

Over ten adult sex workers, a few club staff did not escape and were captured. Jimmy, Steven, and the others locked up on the fifth floor were also brought back. The interrogation is still ongoing.

Four people were confirmed dead at the shootout scene, one of whom was found under the bed and was verified by the technician to be a client. They were hiding under the bed after the shootout occurred, with only one hit by a bullet. The other three were security personnel, after verifying identities, two of them were confirmed gang members; the identity of the one dead on the third floor has not yet been confirmed.

Several injured security personnel and staff have been sent to different hospitals, accompanied by officers and agents for monitoring. At present, it seems unlikely these individuals will face fatal outcomes, which is somewhat good news.

A few people captured on the scene are marked as gang members in the FBI and DEA databases. These individuals need further verification to confirm which gang manages the club or if it is a joint operation.

These are what they managed to confirm in just one night, more information needs to be awaited. There are still two safes in the club that require a search warrant from the federal court the next day to forcibly open and verify the contents. All in all, Jimmy and his team created a huge job for the FBI and DEA Albuquerque office, enough to keep them busy.

Jimmy's actual concern is those clients; he vividly remembers there was another scumbag on the third floor at that time. Due to immature conditions, he couldn't take action; however, now he is not allowed to intervene in the interrogation, which is troublesome, and he can't show it too evidently.

He and Steven's surveillance tapes still need to be verified; these matters can't be completed in just one night. Until these matters are concluded, Jimmy is very inconvenient to contact these people; it may lead others to bad associations, especially since most of the deceased were brought on by Jimmy.

Fortunately, Hope being the headquarters agent has some justification to be involved. Moreover, as Hope did not participate in the shootout, he is more convenient in some matters. Jimmy asked Hope to help get a copy of the organized interrogation records and these people's registration information for him to take a look, and Hope of course had no problem with this.

He's quite frustrated that he couldn't participate in the reconnaissance process this time. Such battle scenes are rare for an agent like him to encounter, but with Jimmy being the big shot present, safety is assured, and it could make quite a splash among the agents. What a pity.

Having arranged everything, Jimmy returned to the hotel to wash up and rest. Steven invited Jimmy to dinner in the evening, having just collaborated once, Jimmy certainly wouldn't refuse, especially since they now have nothing left to do.
