"Why aren’t you having breakfast?" He couldn’t believe it was due to lack of appetite; perhaps it was... a bad mood?

He was about to say something when his phone rang. It was a call from Asher Land.
He took the phone to the other side before answering.
"Third Brother, I don’t have time to go to the office today; I need to keep Sophie company. She’s not in a good mood today."
"Who told you to go to the office?" Asher’s lazy voice came through. "Let’s have lunch together today, bring your wife along."
Asher used the words ’your wife’ intentionally.
"What are you trying to do?"
"What can I do?"
Luke Land and Eva Miller got married in what seemed like a bit of a rush. Back then, he was still on his honeymoon with Sophie Smith and didn’t even manage to send a wedding gift. Moreover, Eva is his second brother’s woman and Sophie’s best friend, so some social customs still needed to be observed.
"Isn’t your wife out of sorts? It’s a good opportunity to take her out for some fresh air. I’ll bring Sophie along too." Asher finished speaking and hung up the phone.

"Go upstairs and get ready. You will go out with me in a while."

She had done a delicate yet subtle makeup that highlighted her petite and refined features. The white wool coat paired with the blue dress made her look gracefully mature and elegant.
Luke Land watched her for a while before he retracted his gaze.
