Naruto: Konoha’s Trickster, Starting as the Seven-Tails Jinchūriki

Chapter 771: Dialogue and Completion

Chapter 771: Dialogue and Completion

Before Kushina could say anything, Kazuyama slowly stood up, letting the Seven-Tails' chakra flow out from him. He raised his right fist.

"Come on, Kushina. This is how Jinchūriki greet each other."

"Let's get to know each other again."

Kushina looked at Kazuyama's offered fist, thinking of all the years she'd known him, and wondering what he meant by a fist bump. Curiosity got the better of her; she raised her own right fist.

The moment their fists touched, Kushina's surroundings changed. Everything turned white. And standing beside Kazuyama was a massive insect—an armored beetle with six wings and a long tail.

"Ahahaha! Just like I thought! Poor Nine-Tails… After all this time, you're still miserably locked down by Adamantine Sealing Chains!"

"Kushina, you should be more gentle with him. He is the Nine-Tails, after all."

Kazuyama burst out laughing, and even Chōmei joined in. The Nine-Tails looked far too pathetic—chains everywhere, even his giant fox head was strapped down. He looked like he wanted to curse them out but couldn't. It was ridiculous.

"Kazuyama? What is this place?"

"Welcome to the inner world only Jinchūriki can enter. This is my partner, the Seven-Tails, Chōmei."

Kazuyama shrugged while introducing Chōmei.

Hearing that name, Kushina froze for a moment. "Chōmei? You named him?"

The Nine-Tails was just as stunned. His rage had already faded the moment he heard Chōmei's name come from Kazuyama's mouth.

"No. We Tailed Beasts have always had names. You just never knew them."

"And I just happen to know them."

"For example, the one behind you—Nine-Tails, Kurama."

"Nice to meet you, Kurama."

Silence fell over the entire scene.

"Kazuyama, the Nine-Tails can't even talk right now! Hahaha!"

"You mangy fox! Weren't you so high and mighty before? Look at you now. What a joke."

Chōmei's laughter finally snapped Kushina back to reality—she still had the Nine-Tails completely bound.

She quickly released the Adamantine Sealing Chains, and the Nine-Tails regained his freedom. But instead of exploding in anger, he walked straight up to Kazuyama, stared him down with huge fox eyes, and demanded:

"You brat, where did you learn all this?"

"Chōmei couldn't have told you everything!"

It was the same question both Kurama and Kushina wanted answered.

Kazuyama only curled his lip, calm as ever.

"Just your origins and your names. All nine of you."

"Not just you—I know the others too."

"But enough of that."

"Kurama, want to bump fists? I've done it with plenty of Tailed Beasts."

That was true. At some point, Kazuyama had simply grown fond of fist-bumping Tailed Beasts. It felt like something unseen kept pushing him to do it.

Kurama stayed silent for a while, then raised his fist.

Their large and small fists touched, and their chakra briefly intertwined. Kurama's eyes widened. In Kazuyama's chakra, he felt a power he hadn't sensed in ages.

"Hey, what are you two doing?"

"Kazuyama, what is happening?"

Kushina still couldn't make sense of any of it.

All three turned to look at her, followed by a collective sigh.

"Kushina, relax."

"Don't hold such a grudge against the Nine-Tails. Tailed Beasts aren't as terrible as you think."

"Didn't you already reach an understanding with Kurama? That night when Naruto was born?"

Kurama had supported her then—without him, she never could've drawn on his power that night.

"Right now, we share a common enemy: Uchiha Madara."

"Kurama's strength is immense. He'll be your greatest support."

Kazuyama's goal was simple—get Kushina to trust Kurama for now, then use the Nine-Tails' power to fight Madara together. Madara's power was simply too dangerous.

"Kurama, huh?"

"I never thought the Nine-Tails actually had a name…"

Kushina stared at the proud-looking fox in shock. Everything happening was overturning her worldview.

Kurama only snorted.

"I can't see through you, kid. Hmph. But I can see those scheming thoughts in your head."

"Borrow my power? Not that easy."

"At the very least… those Adamantine Sealing Chains better never appear again!"

Kurama had years of pent-up frustration. He hadn't even been able to lie down properly—always hung or chained up.

Hearing him vent, Kazuyama and Chōmei burst out laughing again.

Kushina rubbed her temples helplessly.

...

A full day of war passed in the blink of an eye.

Madara Uchiha had returned to the battlefield and was now standing atop a ridge, with the puppeteer Kabuto beside him. Many had been destroyed over the day, but their performance was outstanding. White Zetsu fused with puppet cores produced immense combat power, often requiring dozens of Allied Shinobi to bring them down.

"Impressive puppet techniques. I never expected that brat from Sand to create something worthy of the battlefield."

"Thank you. But my research into puppet techniques is far from over."

Kabuto showed no fear before Madara—his eyes were fixed only on his puppets.

Suddenly, a surge of energy rippled behind them.

"Already completed?"

"I didn't think you'd actually pull it off."

Madara didn't even turn around. He recognized the aura immediately.

Muren Uchiha slowly opened his eyes. His Mangekyō Sharingan had completely changed. The spear-like pattern had transformed—its sharp edges turning into six curved arcs, with a four-pointed star forming at the center. The combined design looked eerie and unsettling.

This was the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

"Of course I succeeded. My bond with A leaves no room for failure!"

"A's eyes will be the perfect blade to cut down that bastard Kazuyama!"

"You fought him?"

Hearing Kazuyama's name, Madara let out a cold snort—clearly still furious over what had happened before.
