Chapter 377 - 215: Bathing in Dragon Blood

Chapter 377 - 215: Bathing in Dragon Blood

On the other side, White Dragon Han Zhuo was in hot pursuit of Henry.

Its massive body covered in white scales bore two patches of black scorch marks, injuries from the Krit brothers’ Flame Burst Spell.

Although the White Dragon has substantial resistance to all schools of magic, generally speaking, spells ranging from the First to Third Level do negligible damage to it. However, the Flame Burst Spell is a Fifth Level Spell, and being a Fire Spell, its power is incomparable.

Nevertheless, even though the Krit brothers inflicted some damage on White Dragon Han Zhuo, they still failed to divert its focus.

White Dragon Han Zhuo’s enormous dragon eyes remained fixed on the black suitcase in Henry’s hand.

Seeing that there were only a few dozen meters left between them, Henry became extremely anxious, unsure whether to let go of the suitcase and abandon the Necromancy Crystal he had attained by pure luck.

"Lord Viscount, give me the case!"

Fortunately, Dylan Krit had arrived to his left, a little over ten meters away, and shouted loudly.

Henry immediately understood Dylan’s intention, his eyes widened with joy. While sprinting, he quickly tossed the black suitcase to Dylan.

The suitcase drew a black arc through the air before landing in Dylan’s hands.

Upon receiving the suitcase, Dylan immediately changed direction, heading away from Henry.

With the black suitcase’s position shifted, White Dragon Han Zhuo naturally turned toward Dylan, abandoning Henry.

This allowed Henry to breathe a sigh of relief, his tightly wound heart somewhat relaxing. His pace slowed slightly; although enhanced by ’Big Step Sprinting’, running at full speed was extremely exhausting, and he panted heavily.

But within two seconds, when his sight caught the White Dragon closing in on Dylan, his heart raced again.

"Watch out! Dylan!"

For he saw a surge of frost energy gathering in the White Dragon’s mouth, not a breath, but seemingly some other frost magic.

"Be careful, it’s the Ice Wall Spell!" Keller, as a Level 9 Mage, sensed the energy fluctuation’s form and immediately identified the spell the White Dragon might cast.

"Silent Phantom!!" Hearing the warnings from Viscount Henry and his brother Keller, Dylan immediately grasped the amethyst pendant around his neck.

The next second!

A tall and solid ice wall, four to five meters high and at least twenty to thirty meters long, rose to block his path.

If he stopped, he would be very likely caught by the White Dragon.

The amethyst pendant in Dylan’s hand emitted waves of magic radiance, creating two identical figures, one fleeing east, the other west.

This made White Dragon Han Zhuo glance left and right, unable to identify the real body.

After two seconds, the White Dragon’s large nostrils flared slightly, and it resumed pursuit of one of Dylan’s figures.

At this moment, Keller joined Dylan from about ten meters away.

"Dylan, give it to me!"

The two promptly executed a relay; Dylan threw the black suitcase, and Keller, upon catching it, turned and ran in another direction.

This forced White Dragon Han Zhuo to once again adjust its target, now chasing Keller.

Meanwhile, the other three mages in the Krit squad were ready to support.

Since mages are adept at self-preservation and escape, and there were no mages below Level 5 present—each wielding various magic equipment and scrolls—the chase left White Dragon Han Zhuo empty-handed.

This gradually fueled White Dragon Han Zhuo’s anger!

"Humans! You’re courting death!!"

It decided to eliminate a mage first.

Initially, it was focused on the suitcase; now, if it relentlessly pursues one mage, Han Zhuo is confident it can kill one within a minute, certainly no more than two.

White Dragon Han Zhuo began to lift into the air, planning to use a wide-range attack spell on a human mage—’Icebound Shackles’

A powerful move that also required preparation time!

But then suddenly.

A familiar scream echoed from afar—"(Dragon Language) Han Zhuo, help me! My brother, come save me!"

This startled Han Zhuo!

Is that Bing Zhuo’s voice?

Though the distance was considerable, the distinctive roar of dragons was hard to mistake; Han Zhuo heard it clearly.

This prompted Han Zhuo to curse his brother inwardly—

’How incompetent can you be?’

’Being beaten enough by humans to send a distress call is utterly disgraceful to the dignity of our mighty dragon race!’

It glanced once more at the surrounding human mages; it was very tempted to stay and eliminate a few of these nimble ’fleas’ to vent.

But the thought of its brother possibly dying here made it suppress its rage; if that happened, it wouldn’t be able to explain to their mother back home.

"Humans, consider yourselves lucky this time, but this isn’t over!"

Saying this, White Dragon Han Zhuo flapped its enormous wings, flying swiftly toward the direction of Bing Zhuo.

The abrupt departure of the White Dragon left Henry and the Krit squad perplexed.

At this moment, at the edge of the spruce forest, the sound of dense footsteps echoed, led by Commodore Gregory in a Soladin Kingdom officer’s uniform, with six royal guards in tow.

Gregory first scanned the battle traces around, and the huge dragon claw prints, then glanced at the receding White Dragon, and exclaimed in amazement:
