Chapter 1011 - 1010: It’s Actually a Zombie

"Um... can we... bathe together?" Chen Tianlong asked with his eyes still closed. For someone known as the Evil Young Master, his face should have remained impassive and his heart steady in this situation, but facing Wu Mengting, he couldn’t remain calm. A blush finally appeared on his face, thick as a wall.

Wu Mengting instinctively looked up and saw Chen Tianlong actually blushing, feeling a burst of excitement.

"Wushuang, Xiaoyu, where are you?" Chen Tianlong called out, feeling increasingly uneasy, because the girls were not there.

With no one inside, Chen Tianlong held Wu Mengting’s hand and quickly moved to another room since the six girls were staying in two rooms; perhaps they went out to play together.

Thinking of this, Chen Tianlong knocked on the door and called out again, but still no response.

After sensing something was wrong, Chen Tianlong kicked the door open. There was no one inside, just a monster charging towards the doorway at high speed. Chen Tianlong reacted quickly, pulling Wu Mengting with a swift turn to hide behind the wall. The monster flew out and crashed into the wall across.

Chen Tianlong finally saw clearly—it was a zombie.

He struck it with a Flaming Frenzy Dragon Fist, causing the zombie to collapse, unable to get up, likely with broken bones. Chen Tianlong was deeply worried about not finding the six girls. Holding Wu Mengting’s hand, he said while walking, "Mengting, we must find Wushuang and the others. If my guess is correct, this place is already under the control of the Zombie King."

"What? A zombie?" Wu Mengting was startled to hear this word. She had only seen these things on TV before, and now seeing them in real life, shock would be an understatement.

"Yes, we should go downstairs and take a look." Chen Tianlong wore a worried expression on his face. Wu Mengting nodded, so they headed downstairs.

However, after going downstairs, they found no one around; outside was eerily gloomy, making the dusk scene feel creepy.

Suddenly, with a crash, all the city lights went out. No one knew what had happened.

It was around seven o’clock in the evening, but since it had just rained, the sky remained dim and the ground was muddy.

Soon, the two reached the street, only to find it almost deserted, littered with scattered objects all over...

"Oh no, it seems Wushuang and the others are in danger." Chen Tianlong furrowed his brow tightly. This situation was beyond what he had imagined.

Glancing around, Chen Tianlong suddenly felt a surge of Evil Qi spreading. He turned to Wu Mengting and said, "Mengting, the Zombie King has been here; we must be careful."

Wu Mengting clutched Chen Tianlong’s hand tightly, looking at him worriedly. Chen Tianlong understood she was a bit scared and gripped her hand firmly.

"Don’t be afraid, Mengting, I will protect you." Chen Tianlong said gently, looking into her eyes.

"Okay, okay." Wu Mengting nodded repeatedly, showing she understood.

The two of them didn’t linger much and proceeded forward, trying to find a crowd to inquire about the situation. Chen Tianlong and Wu Mengting hadn’t walked far when they suddenly saw a large group of walking dead enclosing them, all bearing sharp fangs, evidently zombies.

"Chen Tianlong, these zombies are terrifying!" Wu Mengting shivered at the sight of the approaching horde of zombies.

"Mengting, don’t be afraid; walk behind me." Chen Tianlong felt frustrated at the sight, wondering how in such a short time so many were infected.

Soon, the zombies closed in. Chen Tianlong rushed forward, waving his hand, and three silver needles flew out. The powerful Needle Qi swept through, knocking down many. At that moment, Chen Tianlong held Wu Mengting’s hand and ran backward quickly. But the next moment shocked them; they had just run a few steps when they found more zombies behind them.

With zombies attacking from both sides, Chen Tianlong maintained his composure and carefully examined the surroundings. He discovered on the right was the small hotel they had stayed in, so he led Wu Mengting to run there.

Once inside the hotel, Chen Tianlong climbed to the second floor via the stairs. With his room key, he opened the room, locked it, and hid. Knowing these zombies couldn’t be killed, Chen Tianlong pondered for a solution.

"Mengting, later you must do exactly what I say, understand?" Chen Tianlong realized the severity of the situation. Although he would have no trouble escaping on his own, Wu Mengting’s skills were lacking, and she couldn’t evade these monsters alone.

If he became distracted fighting zombies, what if Wu Mengting got bitten?

"Yes, I understand, Chen Tianlong. Later, I’ll listen to everything you say." Wu Mengting nodded, touched by Chen Tianlong’s concern for her.

Before long, the zombies began moving towards the hotel, swarming into the lobby and starting to search around.
