Chapter 31

*Third person's pnt. of view*

Upon arriving at the hospital, the ladies were instantly taken into custody of the doctor and they were quickly ushered to separated operation rooms, while the guys were being held back, except Damien wasn't having none of that.

"That's my wife you're talking about here! And my daughter!" Damien yelled angrily.

" I understand sir, but I need you to calm down." the nurse tried to reason.

"NO! you don't f****** understand! So don't you dare tell me to calm down! The love of my life is in grave danger and you're standing in my face telling me that you understand?! Man don't feed me that bull s***!" Retorted Damien.

"Sir? Sir!" Yelled Lucas "you're hurting her. Come on let her go, your anger won't help our situation." Lucas spoke Softly.

Blinking a few times Damien realized that in his blinding rage he was holding the female nurse in a tight grip and shaking her at the same time.

He instantly apologized and moved away from the Petrified nurse quickly.

" I'm sorry, I just, I'm sorry." He breathed out, taking a seat placing his head in his hands.

" It's okay. Don't worry, as soon as I hear something of their condition, you'll be the first to know" said the nurse, then she scurried away.

Lucas sat down facing Damien as Damien began muttering in his hands "please don't leave me Sarah, nor you Jade. I need you girls in my life. Please be okay honey. Please be okay baby girl."

Afterwards, the men stayed in complete silence. Each buried in their own personal thoughts, trapped in their own personal bubble.

Meanwhile behind the closed doors of the operation room, the doctors were fighting hard to keep Sarah and her growing child alive.

"She's losing a lot of blood doctor." Said the nurse "and she is 4 weeks along."

"Alright, keep the defibrillator close. We need to stabilize her quick, before she loses anymore blood." Ordered the doctor, then he added softly " Oh Sarah, we meet again, for the third time." He chuckled then added, " you must be one hell of a troublemaker."

"What was that sir?" The nurse questioned.

"Oh nothing. Just thinking out loud. All right everyone, let's get to work. We need to work at a fast pace she is losing a lot of blood and She's suffering from a concussion so let's get to work! We technically have two patients at the moment so we have to get this done I need both patients to come out alive!" He ordered. As many "Yes sir'" followed around the room, and the team got busy.

While the doctors were busy with Sarah, another team was also working frantically to save Jade's life, for she was also losing a lot of blood. They had to pick the bullets out of her shoulder and leg, and her heart failed 2 times throughout the operation. Yet she pulled through.

Hours passed before Jade was ushered to her own room followed by Sarah and Damien.

They were all transferred to recovery, and Lucas wasn't allowed in because he was not family.

However, on her way to the room Jade was still under the anesthetic effect, but she could have sworn she saw Dean talking to a doctor, but then she remembered she saw him die, so she sighed sadly, and she let sleep take over.

But before she was gone completely, she felt as though someone grabbed her hand, and a familiar voice resonated in her ear.

*Dean's pnt. of view*

I couldn't believe my eyes. After all this time, she was alive, and even though she looked pale, she was still gorgeous to me. I wasn't allowed in the recovery room, but neither was this other guy, who as soon as he noticed me, a glare took place on his face, then he walked away.

Wait, do I even know him?

I didn't stay to ponder on the guy's behavior because my mind quickly drifted back to Jade.

If I was alive, and she made it through, I knew it was a sign, and I was going to make her mine forever.

With that thought in mind, I headed back to my room, making sure to keep tabs on Jade.

*Damien's pnt. of view*

I sat in between the beds, my eyes shifting from Sarah to Jade.

I couldn't stop thinking how much of a scare these woman gave me.

The fluorescent lights, cold air, and the smell of medicine seemed to take a toll on me, as I felt heavy, and my mind pondered back to before I met Sarah.

I could've never imagined my life ever taking such a turn after a feisty Sarah walked into my office.

But I couldn't be happier that she did, although she abused me, I wouldn't change a thing.

Once we get out of here, the first thing I will do, is make her my official wife, so everyone will know, she is forever mine.

*Lucas's pnt of view*

After I saw the doctors bringing Jade and Sarah out of the rooms, I breathed out relived sigh, it felt as though a cloud lifted off of me.

However all that changed soon enough, because on our way to the recovery room, we passed a guy that looked familiar, then everything clicked when he rushed to Jade, and held on to her hand.

I wanted to rip him away from her, but I restrained myself.

However I didn't stop the glare that showed when him and I made eye contact, at the doors of the recovery room.

I walked away thinking "So he is alive huh? Well, NOTHING is going to stop me from getting what I want, and what I want is Jade! And she will be mine! ALL MINE!"

*Third person's pnt. of view*

After the girls spent about 2 days in recovery, they were each transferred to separate rooms.

*Sarah's pnt. of view*

I woke up on a soft surface, a slight headache, and a mild pain in my lower abdomen.

When I finally managed to unglue my eyelids, and peel then open, I was met with the mesmerizing hazel orbs that belonged to none other than Damien.

As soon as he noticed that I was awake, he rushed to my side and engulfed my palm within his.

He smothered my face with kisses, then he bathed my hand with kisses.

I giggled, and replied softly " missed you too baby."

When he looked however, my smile faded, tears were streaming down his face as he says "Don't you ever scare me like that again baby. Don't you leave me. Say you'll never leave me. Say you'll be mine forever."

I smiled sweetly at him and I said " I'll never leave you baby, I'm yours forever." And that's sealed the deal.

*Jade's pnt. of view*

I woke to find my leg dangling a few inches off the soft surface that my body was lying on.

My hands were connected to a few IV cords, and my head pounded with slight pain at my very slow paced heartbeat.

I fully opened my eyes, and across from me sat none other than this guy who looked familiar, but his long hair was slightly covering his face.

His striking facial features that showed, easily caught my attention, and his pink lips made me wonder what it would be like to kiss him.

Then I cleared my throat, a bit loud if you ask me, for the guy was instantly alert, and soon I knew exactly who it was, but I just couldn't believe it.

"D-d-Dean?" I stuttered.

"JADE!" He exclaimed dashing to my side.

He grabbed my hand, and caressed my cheek, and without realizing, I leaned into his warm touch, and I sighed happily.

I couldn't believe it, and soon tears of joy poured from my eyes.

"Babe why are you crying? Are you on pain?" He asked softly.

"No, I, I, I just can't believe it's you. I mean I saw you die, and and and, you you said you loved me, then you died! And-"

"Shhh" Dean cut off my stammering " its okay baby. I'm here everything is going to be okay."

He offered a smile then he leaned into me, and I inched my head towards him, our lips were inches to touching when someone spoke up saying " is this a bad time?" And Dean and I quickly pulled away from each other, cheeks red.

"Oh! Dad! Hi!" I said awkwardly.

"Hey baby girl, glad to see you're doing well. Mind introducing me to your friend here?"

"Um Oh yeah! Dad this is Dean, Dean this is my dad."

Dean quickly got to his feet and held out his hand to shake my dad's politely as he said "nice to meet you sir." And my dad replied "the pleasure is all mine."

Then my father looked at Dean, as if observing him then he said "so you're the one my daughter stole his heart. Well, I hope you appreciate her, and I hope you will take care of her cause if not, I will come for you. Nice to meet you again. Now, umm I'll leave you guys to your little reunion." He said turning away, but not before sending Dean a stern look.

Dean stood silent, Petrified, and intimidated, so I replied "okay dad, um thanks."

I then looked at Dean and smiled, he once again approached me, and before our lips touched again, someone once again clears their throat and said " is this a bad time?"

We once again quickly pulled away to find Lucas standing there, with a bouquet of flowers in his hands.

He looked between Dean and I then he demanded " may I speak to Jade for a second in private."

Dean quickly shook his head, and walked out, closing the door.

Lucas stalked towards me and handed me the flowers, I took them appreciatively and smiled up at him as I said "thanks."

I turned to placed the flowers on the table next to me, and as soon as I turned back, Lucas's lips were locked on mine.

I was caught off guard for a second, but as soon as I snapped back to reality, I pushed him away, then slapped him across the cheek.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I snapped.

He breathed in and said "I need you to be mine Jade. You have to be mine!"

"No! Get away from me!" I yelled as he attempted to kiss me again, but the the door burst open, and Dean quickly pulled him away from me.

He walked to the door angry, then he turned and said " I will get what I want. And that is a promise." Then he walked away.

I couldn't help but feel shaken up, yet guilty. I knew I was in the wrong for leading Lucas on, but I thought Dean was gone, and now that he's back, my feelings for Lucas have faded, while those for Dean only intensified.

Dean rushed to my side as he said " are you okay?"

I took in a few calming breaths then I said " yeah, I'm okay, but don't leave. Stay with me."

He shook his head, kissed my forehead, then pulled a chair next to me, his hand still intertwined with mine.

*6 months later (narrator from SpongeBob voice)*

*Third person's pnt. of view*

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Announced the priest, and Damien carefully took Sarah on his embrace, and kissed her, as the crowd went wild.

During the reception, Sarah threw her bouquet and Jade caught it. As soon as she did, she was sat down in the middle of the room then Dean pulled up to her, and slowly got down on one knee.

Jade's eyes widened then Dean pulled out a royal blue box and he said "Jade, after everything we've been through I've decided it was now or never. Jade Christina Reaves, will you marry me?" Dean questioned as hope filled his eyes.

"YES! YES! OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU!" She yelled, and once again the crowd went wild.

That day the couples: Damien and Sarah Reaves, Jade and Dean, and Samuel and Sofia danced in celebration, joined by family and friends.

While the family gathered in the living room after the ceremony, the door bell rang.

Sarah decided to open the door, saying she needed to walk more often, and keep fit due to her 7 months pregnancy.

When she opened the door, there was no one to be seen, except for vase filled with red roses on the doormat, and a card.

The flowers were gorgeous, and for a second she thought it was from Damien, until she read the card and it said... "Tyler might be gone... BUT I'M NOT DONE YET! So watch you back sweetie, and congratulations."
