Chapter 23

*Lucas' pnt. of view*

Sarah woke up in extreme pain and hunger. We quickly patched her up, and the medic in our team confirmed my assumptions, she was pregnant.

"Where am I? Who are you? What am I doing here? What did you do with Jade?" She blurted out question after question.

"You're in a warehouse, I'm Lucas, boss's orders, Jade passed out just like you, we're waiting on her to wake up." I tried my best to answer all her questions.

"Huh?" She looked at me as if I've grown two heads, then she added slowly "riiight."

What? Was it something I said? Eh it doesn't matter.

A few minutes later Jade woke up.

"Sir she's awake." Said one of my men.

"Good, feed her." I replied.

"Jade!" Sarah said, getting her daughter's attention.

"Mom!" Responded Jade upon spotting her mom.

"What the-" she tried to get up but she suddenly became aware of the fact that both of them were bound to chairs.

"Just calm down." Her mom spoke.

"Yes Jade calm down." Came my voice unintentionally. I just felt the urge to calm her down.

"We're not going to hurt you."

She seem to observe me from head to toe. Her eyes gliding slowly across my body, as if trying to register everything on me, but Lord did that have an effect on me.

It was hard to ignore the way her curiosity and her stare affected me.

But the moment was cut short when all of the sudden came "Who are you? What did you do to us? What are we doing here?" She blurted one question after the next.

Huh, like mother like daughter.

"My name is Lucas, we brought you here, boss's orders, and well that's up to boss to decide." I answered with a straight face.

"Whaaaa?" She said surprised at my answers.

"You'll get used to it." Replied her mom.

Get used to what? Am I speaking in crookeds? Or Chinese? I don't think so. Maybe the water from the waterfall had an effect on them.

Yeah that has to be it.

One of my men went up to her with a tray and a spoon, knowing the routine, he sat facing her, then he picked up the spoon filled with soup and directed it to her lips, which were shut tight.

"Open up Jade, it's okay." Reassured her mom, and so she did with no hesitation.

This routine kept on until she seem to have had the sudden craving for water, and so she said "thank you, but I would like some water now please."

Please and thank you? Even in danger she still has manners.

"Alright, I got it." I spoke up, wanting to get closer to her.

I walked up to her and placed the cup on her lips, and tipped it so the water could make contact with her mouth, all the while keeping my eyes glued to hers.

She opened her mouth slowly, letting the water seep in, as if allowing herself to enjoy the refreshing taste.

And that gave me a chance to examine her a bit better.

When she's had enough, she pulled her head away, but she didn't dare move her eyes from mine.

Her beautiful pools of chocolate pierced through my gaze as if seeing straight to my soul, and then out of the blue her tongue darted out as she licked her lips, and that didn't go unnoticed by me, and once we regained eye contact I knew my pupils were dilated, because my entire being was going haywire, and I didn't miss the way my member poked at my jeans.

Her eyes held such an innocent connection with mine that I felt a sudden stirring deep within myself, something I haven't felt in a long time, and I know she feels something too because her legs tightened.

Once that happened, I knew I had to get away from her so I pulled back with a smirk, and I knew that she knew that I had an effect on her. My smile only grew bigger when I knew that she knew that I knew that I had an effect on her.

But hours later all the relief I felt was taken away, when Tyler arrived.

One look at the girls and he exploded "Who the fuck did this?" His anger instantly taking over.

"Who gave anyone the right to take care of them?" He yelled.

"It was me sir." I answered. No point in lying.

" I thought you would've liked them in a better shape, then previously." I said thinking of an excuse to convince him. But in reality I was really trying to convince myself, I mean I don't know these people, I don't know what business they have with Tyler, but as far as I know I just can't bear the thought of leaving them in the state they were previously. I mean Sarah is pregnant, and Jade, well to be honest I just feel like I have to do it for her. Why I do not know. She's a perfect stranger.

"Lucas," he said laughing while shaking his head, "Lucas, Lucas, Lucas, don't you ever learn? Do you remember what happened last time you defied me? Or should I play the video so you can be reminded of what happens when someone defies me?!" He said with a smile, and I bet he was reminiscing what he did to my wife.

"No sir." I replied, my voice strained, as I hold back from attacking Tyler, while my wife's screams play over and over in my mind.

"Good."

With that he turned his back on me and faced the twin glares of Sarah and Jade.

They're so alike, it's creepy.

"Hello dear." He greeted Sarah.

"Hello a**hole." She answered not so politely.

"Hey bitch." He said to Jade.

"Hey there ass wipe." She replied with the same attitude as her mother. Feisty, I like it.

"Huh, like mother like daughter." He said while his voice sounded like he was smirking.

I know right! I wanted to agree to his statement.

"So they say." Replied Sarah.

In a split second his hand lashed out and it connected with Sarah's cheek in a harsh impact, causing her neck to snap to the side, but she instantly snapped it back as her eyes met his with a fiery glare.

"You son of a bitch!" Yelled Jade as she landed a kick right behind his knee, actually causing him to stagger to the floor. But he quickly got back on his feet and turned landing a punch dead in Jade's face, and I couldn't help the grunt that escaped me, just as Sarah yelled "No Jade!"

"Jade! That's her name!" Exclaimed Tyler.

Then he turned to me, and walked right up to my face, "what was that sound you made Lucas? Don't tell me you're going soft on me cause of that girl now? Tsk tsk tsk, now now Lucas, I don't think we need to go through a punishment to get you back on my side now do we?" He asked feeling powerful, as I stood silent and motionless, "that's what I thought."

Little bastard, if it wasn't for the sake of the families of the people in the room, I would've already put Tyler in a coma. But I know how dangerous he can be, but he will get what's coming to him.

Jade's head snapped up just as Tyler spoke his last words to me and she said "oh leave him alone you ass, you have a fight with me."

Damn she's tough. I like that.

Tyler drew in an exasperated breath then he turned back his fist once again connecting with Jade's face.

Her head snapped back, and she rolled her neck until she was once again staring back at Tyler. She looked into his deadly eyes, and then she did the unthinkable, she smiled then spit her bloody saliva in his face.

Oh yeah! She's hot!

"You sick bastard!" Sarah yelled just as she kicked him exactly where Jade kicked him previously, sending him tumbling down.

He drew in a tired breath and slowly yet painfully got on his feet, I could tell he was in pain, cause shoot I would be in pain too" that's it! I'm going to kill you!" He said holding his gun that was hidden in his back pocket to Sarah's head.

"TYLER!" Yelled someone, a voice that was unfamiliar.

"Hello Damien." He said turning around with a smile.

All heads snapped towards the voice and there stood a man holding a gun to another man's neck while he stared daggers at Tyler.
