My Players Are So Fierce – Handsome dog Frank

Chapter 2544 - 849: Murphy’s Strange Acquisition

Chapter 2544 - 849: Murphy’s Strange Acquisition

Murphy used the special relationship between the elder and the warrior to designate Little Wei Ming’s exclusive mission as "secretive," meaning he didn’t want it to become widely known.

As the first player warrior of the handsome vampire, Little Wei Ming had executed similar actions before. She not only didn’t resist this but felt she was finally given the "responsibility of an adult." Therefore, she perfectly concealed the secret with the utmost professionalism. While other players were enjoying their wonderful reward time, Little Potato efficiently acted alone in this "deciphering place" that was difficult to find, let alone enter without instructions.

Following the task hints given by Sir Murphy, Little Wei Ming quickly found the crack leading to the Energy Cabin of the R-9 Base and crawled in using her natural "body size advantage," successfully locating the target.

Murphy was very pleased with this.

This item was the "bargaining chip" Crafty Serpent Manis had produced during their negotiations.

It was said to be something that the Time Snake could not interpret, and items in this world unaffected by the Power of Time were very rare. Therefore, Murphy believed that what Little Wei Ming found would definitely be of great assistance to him in the future.

However, he realized how narrow this damned place was only after he actually entered the crack.

It only allowed a slender Little Bean like Wei Ming to pass through; a tall and mighty vampire like Murphy found it difficult even to crouch down and enter.

This terrain was obviously quite abnormal.

Perhaps due to the geological changes caused by the explosion in the Eden District. In any case, when Murphy needed to go deeper, he had no choice but to dissipate into countless little bats fluttering in the sky to continue through.

This was a very narrow and long crack, connecting from the third floor of the R-9 Base down to the fourth underground level’s Energy Cabin. Due to the lower level’s tear, the energy cabin door was completely jammed, and only through this crevice could one smoothly reach the energy storage area.

The handsome vampire was forced to maintain his small bat form, continuously winding and twisting downward along the crack. After passing a few bends, he sensed the breath of the Creator’s energy below, indicating he was nearing his destination. Gathering speed, he pushed through the exhausting crack and reformed into human shape in the enclosed space below.

In front of him was an Energy Cabin almost identical to the Civilization Museum of the Jackalman, but the one at R-9 Base was obviously larger, more robust, and showed signs of significant "post-enhancement." Six energy spires were rearranged in a more complex manner, with some radar-like devices installed on top that Murphy couldn’t understand but unmistakably belonged to the Creator’s Black Technology.

Murphy speculated this should be an energy enhancement component. After all, the R-9 Base had borne the responsibility of suppressing the subspace fracture for over a thousand years, and it would indeed be impossible to handle this challenging task without some technology. Yet, new doubts arose.

If this Energy Cabin was modified, then who completed the modification?

This base was a part torn from the "Life Greenhouse" system. In other words, whether it’s suppressing the subspace fracture or modifying the Energy Cabin, it should have happened after the big explosion in the Eden District. But at that time, Lord Pa Ying had already activated the Beta Program and completed memory cleansing to avoid further contamination by the subspace shadow.

With all Eden District residents affected, could there really have been any survivors who knew how to operate something so complex?

Or... was this the work of a "third party"?

With such doubts, Murphy did not rashly touch the obviously abnormal Energy Cabin before him, fearing he might operate it incorrectly and cause the subspace fracture to enter an unstable state. His actions had to be as careful as disarming a bomb; any misstep could be disastrous.

Beyond the energy spires lay a semi-enclosed sealed room, where the ground bore the footprints left by Little Wei Ming. Thoughtfully, Little Potato had stuck a bright and cute hand-drawn blue raccoon cartoon note on the wall of the room to remind her elder of the item he was looking for.

Thus, Murphy stepped forward, leaned out to take a glance inside, and then withdrew his gaze with puzzlement.

Hiss...

Something inside was odd...

Not right, take another look!

Murphy leaned out again to look into the room. This time, he clearly saw the slumped object inside, indeed very strange. What was stored inside was neither the Creator’s Black Technology nor any Divine weapon or Divine Spirit’s legacy, but a... person?

A woman dressed in strange clothing.

Murphy furrowed his brow even more tightly.

He found the hidden things within this R-9 Base to be increasingly bizarre. Why would there be a strange woman in the core hidden Energy Cabin of a place supposedly sealed for over a thousand years?

The cautious vampire tossed out his saber, allowing Necessary Evil to float in the air and tap the person’s leg inside the room. The latter did not react, and the information sent back by Necessary Evil did not detect any sign of life.

This one should be dead for sure.

Murphy finally relaxed, but he still didn’t reach out to touch her, fearing she might suddenly come back to life. Instead, he gathered spiritual energy to form a Midnight Grip, lifting the person from the room and "hanging" her in mid-air for closer examination. Then, he noticed something clutched tightly in the person’s left hand that resembled a wrench.
