Day and night exchanged, hills and mountains shrouded in light, the sky dancing with stars.

He saw people on the wilderness erect tall towers with flames, witnessing time embrace cities as steel turned to ruins, ruins returning to wilderness. He saw clock hands accelerating, solemn Gods carrying the Fire Seed, driving chariots with bull heads arriving, witnessing the flickers from the misty depths, clearing the fog to see the light, where, in the glowing cocoon, the nascent cry of human philosophy was birthed.

The girl's Heavy Hammer followed, pounding heavily into his chest.
