After hearing so much about my family background, I can't able to take it and run away from there and break down into tears. This is so much. Why does all this happen to me? Why did the moon goddess do this with me? I had always wanted to know about my family and when I ask about my parents to Cole when I saw other children parents come to drop and take them from school, he told me that my parents died in an accident, but I came over the pain knowing that I have Cole's family and Trevor with me, but after some time I lose him too.
Emma said that both vampires and dark witches killed my family. Dose at mean Ryan and other vampires with him also killed my parents.
"No, they are one of those vampires who do not agree with the vampire king and want to live in peace with others, so the moon goddess visits them in their dreams, and guide them, telling them what they need to do to attain the peace, they are innocent," Emma said walking towards and wipe my face with her hand.
"So, they stay with the vampire king to keep an eye on him, and when Alok's kidnapped you, they look after you and Kelvin and help Cole in finding you so that, with the help of you and Cole. he would kill Alok and dark witches and then all of them can leave in peace, " Emma said sitting beside me.
"I know my child, that you are very angry at moon goddess, that she has taken your love ones from you, but she has done that to make you stronger, she knows that you are strong to face every trouble she throws at you, and become even stronger than you already are," Emma said patting my head lovingly.
"Why did she take my parents and grandparents away from me, can't she did it without them killed by those vampires and dark witches, why didn't she tried to help them or send help for them?" I can't help but asks her.
"Not everything is under her control, my child, she tried to help them by sending help for them, but before help can reach to them, they were dead, besides if moon goddess takes something away from you, she sends something in return to fulfill the lack of that person who has gone missing in your life, didn't she send Kelvin to help you when Trevor, got killed by that vampire?" she asks me and I nodded at her.
"You are a very special person Nikki, I haven't completed telling everything about you, and I want to tell everything to you, only if you are ready for it, so do you think you can take it or do you want some more time to take it all in?" she asks me.
If I started to get to know about myself then I better know everything about me for once and for all. Besides the sooner, I know everything the more time I will get to digest it and prepare myself for everything I will face in the future.
"Yes, I think I am ready to take it all you want to tell me," I said with the small smile I manage to form on my face.
"That's like my girl, so you already know that you are a witch, right?" she asks and I nodded my head at her.
"You are not only the witch but also a leader of your coven," she said to me.
"But didn't you said that all the people in my coven, died in the attack?" I ask confused about the information.
"Yes, but those who manage to survive and run away from there to save themselves, and those who leave the coven before the attack were alive and hiding between the humans to protect themselves, and waiting for their leader who is no one else but you," she said and I nodded my head in understanding.
"They are waiting for you to gain your power and lead them, help them taking revenge for the dears one they have lost in the attack when you will turn 18 years old, they will find you and come to you," she said to me and I nodded at her.
"And last thing but not the least, you are the second and the most powerful daughter of the moon goddess, that's why she chooses you to punish and kill those who break the rules she had made to keep the peace between the world she had prepared and established the peace between them once again," she said and I look at her with a wide eye, and jaw drops on my lap.
"You are kidding right?" I ask her hoping her to burst out laughing any minute but to my dislike, she was serious with hell. Great just great, I thought and sign in defeat.
"I know, this is too much for you, so take all the time you want, but remember that the sooner you get over with it, the better it will get for you because the enemy is not going to wait for you to be ready for the war," she said to me with a gentle smile on her face and walks inside the mansion. I get up from my place and start pacing around the place I was sitting a few moments before.
This is too much, maybe I am having a nightmare if I pinch myself maybe I will able to come out of this nightmare, I thought, and pinch myself while closing my eyes. When I open my eyes again, I was still standing outside of Emma's mansion.
"No, not a dream at all," I said shaking my head at myself and run my hand over my face in frustration. I look up in the sky and her that the sun is setting, so I decided to go inside the house for my safety.
"Nikki, are you okay? I know it's too much for you, do you want to talk about it to anyone of us?" Cole asks as I get inside the mansion and walks in the living room.
"I am fine Cole, I just want to be alone for some time to take it all in, I hope you would not mind if I sleep in a separate room only for today, " I ask him and he nodded his head at me.
"I will show you another room," Emma said and lead me to another room. As I look outside the window, I saw the sun has already set and the moon has come out and shone in the night. I walk towards the window and sit on it.
After some time, a cup has come in front of my eyes and I turn to see Emma was holding two cups in her hands and one hand is stretch in front of me.
"It's an herbal tea, it will help you to get relax and sleep in the night," she said smiling at me. I thanked her to take the cup of tea from her hand. I stayed in the window and drink the tea Emma had offered to me while gazing at the moon and tea helps me relax a bit. When I have finished the tea, Emma takes the cup from my hand and walks out of the room, I don't know she was still there in the room because she didn't even make a peep while she is there.
I gaze back on the moon and don't know when I fall asleep in the window.
