Giving up hope

(3rd person P.O.V)

“We won’t able to find her, Alpha,” one of the warriors informed Cole and that was it for his wolf to break through all the walls and take control of Cole’s body, and attacked the warrior who breaks the news to him. Mike tries to call him and tried to stop him but all in Avail. All he sees now is red. Roy jumped on Warrior and clawing at his stomach, he snapped his neck into two, killing him.

He feels someone jumps on him which only acts as fuel to him, he shakes him off of his body and attacked her. When two wolves tried to attack him he shakes them off and warmed them with a furious growl. Knowing what is better for them they backed away from him.

He looks back to the of who is under him and is about to kill him by snapping his neck when Mike attacks him from behind and pins him on the ground. Mike growl at him in a warning and tried to reach Cole by mind link, telling him to snap out of it and get the control back from his wolf.

Roy clawed at his stomach and tried to get out from his claw, and Mike jumps away from him and they started circling and growling at each other, trying to find an opening to attack each other. Roy started to get impatient and attacked him, Mike gets out aside and pinned him under him, and mind linked one of his pack members to insert the injection filled with blue liquid that he had brought with him just in case the situation was like this gets worse.

One of the pack member-run towards the place where they have kept their bags, seeing Mike having trouble keeping Roy pinned under him, Alpha Xavier comes and gives him a hand. The pack member-run toward them and inject the injection into Coles's body.

(Mike P.O.V)

I see Cole's body relax under me. When I am sure that he is unconscious and would not be able to hurt anyone, I get down from his body and shift back into my human form. It hurt to see him like this, but I can't able to do anything to help him. I am glad that Rose is not here to see him like this otherwise her heart will break to see his beloved son like this.

"I am sorry that you have to see that, Alpha Xavier," I apologize to him.

"There is no need to apologize to me, Alpha Mike, I can understand your situation, I have been in his shoes a few pears before," Alpha Xavier said to me while patting my back and looking at my son with sympathy.

"I have called some of my pack members and told them to come here in the ca so that we can take the dead body of the warrior and, you soon to my territory as soon as possible," Xavier said to me and I nodded my head.

I tell my warriors to wrap the dead body in a bag and wait for Alpha Xavier's pack member to be there. After some time, I saw Alpha Xavier's mind linking someone.

"They are waiting for us, on the otherwise of the forest, they have also brought a bus for other warriors," Alpha Xavier informed and I kneel in front of my son to carry him.

"Let me carry him for you, he must be heavy," Alpha Xavier said Putting Cole over his shoulder and guiding us out of the forest to the car. As we walk out of the forest we saw a car and a bus is waiting for us. I open the door for him, and he gently puts Cole in the car and walks to the driver. I order my warriors to get inside the bus and get inside the car, as Alpha Xavier get inside the car and started the engine and we drove to their pack-house.

We reach their pack-house at midnight. I get out of the car and put still unconscious Cole on my shoulder and walk to his room after thanking Alpha Xavier. I Tuck him in the bed and walk to my room to get must needed rest. I get inside the washroom and take a hot shower, after the shower, I get in comfortable clothes and get inside the bed. As soon as I put my head on the pillow I fall asleep in a dreamless slumber.

The next morning, after getting ready for the day, I walk inside Coles's room to check on him, as I enter inside his room he didn't stir, I sit beside his bed and caress his hair. After some time I walk outside his room and downstairs to have brunch. After that, I go to my room to do some work. After doing some work, I take a small nap, still tired from yesterday night, and then go and check on Cole.

(COLE P.O.V)

I wake up with a huge headache, I groan while holding my head with my hands. What happens I thought and tried to remember, but as soon as I put some stress on my memories my headaches even more.

"Your awake, good," dad said walking inside the room.

"Here," he said passing a glass of water and two aspirin to me.

"What happened there?" I ask him and gulp the pills with water.

"We have gone to the frozen river and tried to find your mate, but to avail, and when warrior informed you that we weren't able to find her, Roy take control over you and attacked him, we have no choice but inject you with a seductive," he informed me. I groan in frustration and irritation while running my hands through my face.

"I know what you are going through Cole, but you have to snap out of it for her and your pack, she must be waiting for you to rescue her," my dad said trying to comfort me.

"I am starting to give up hope, dad, what if we did not able to find her, ever?" I ask him at the edge of breaking down in front of him.

"Don't say that, if you give up like that, then who will find her?" my dad scolded me using an alpha tone.

"We are alpha's Cole and not just the Alpha of any pack, we are the alpha's of pure blood, we can do better than this, so stop being so depressed and wear your alpha pants on," dad said using his alpha tone and I nodded my head with a forced smile on my face.

"What is the time now?" I ask him.

"It's 6:00 pm," he informed me.

"Shit, I have slept so long," I said freaking out. How can I sleep for so long? every minute is precious and I can waste a single second sleeping...

"Calm down, I have already told warriors to start their search for her again, you get some rest I will send someone to bring something for you to eat, we will tomorrow morning for home, okay?" he asks and I nodded my head to him and he walks out of the room. I get up from the bed and walk into the washroom to take a hot shower. After I get showered, I dried myself and walks out to see some snacks and a cup of hot coffee on the table. I get dressed and eat it.

I tried to talk to Roy but he completely shut me up. I sigh and walk towards the window and gaze at the moon lost in my thoughts. I don't know how the time passes and the omega comes to call me for dinner, I told her to bring my food here in the room, not in the mood to talk to anyone.

After eating dinner, I get inside the cover and fall asleep while gazing at the moon, praying to the moon goddess to keep her safe wherever she is.

The Next morning we get up early in the morning, and we have our breakfast, I thank Alpha Xavier to let us stay here and leave for my pack house.
