My husband Can Cultivate

Chapter 396 396: You're Quite Dishonest!

Chapter 396 396: You're Quite Dishonest!

Cao Geng's expression twisted grotesquely. He had been belittled and despised once again.

"Power General, Poison General, since this vermin wants to die, let's join forces and kill him! Let's make him understand that people from the Thunder Sect cannot be insulted!"

In truth, Cao Geng was afraid. He knew he couldn't defeat Yang Qi alone, so these words were merely a way to save face.

"Yes!"

Power General had mostly recovered. Although he was injured, his tough skin and thick flesh meant he could still fight. The Poison General, on the other hand, was completely unharmed.

CLANG!

Cao Geng drew a sword adorned with ancient patterns. Sword Qi surged from it, vast and fierce. Clearly, this man was a master swordsman.

Visible Powerful Energy condensed upon the blade—this was Powerful Energy taking form! Just as one could manifest weapons through Condensing Qi into Soldiers, one could also coalesce that energy onto a physical blade to expand its attack range and enhance its power.

Power General donned a pair of Alloy Boxing Gloves. He clearly felt that his physical strength alone was not enough to contend with Yang Qi. At the very least, the Alloy Boxing Gloves would enhance his attacks. Visible Powerful Energy shimmered on the gloves as well.

The Poison General's method of attack was rather eerie. She did not approach Yang Qi; instead, she created distance between them. A black venomous snake suddenly slithered out from her sleeve, darting toward Yang Qi at extreme speed.

"Kill!"

The three shouted in unison as they charged at Yang Qi, unleashing their strongest Combat Power to finish him off.

"Ants are, after all, just ants," Yang Qi chuckled lightly. "A joke is still just a joke. The three of you together are still so pathetically weak!"

Everyone in the crowd wore a strange expression. Weak? He thinks they're weak? Calls them ants? Is he joking? Each of the trio's attacks was terrifying. If any one of them had to face such a barrage alone, death would be certain, with absolutely no chance of survival. Yet Yang Qi called them weak? He has to be joking, right?

But in the next moment, they realized Yang Qi wasn't spouting nonsense.

Yang Qi didn't even try to dodge their attacks. Instead, one hand shot out toward the Power General and the other toward Cao Geng. As for the venomous snake, he ignored it completely.

Many spectators felt their hearts clench. They thought he might be courting death, but then again, a man like him wouldn't do something so foolish. A person like this wasn't just terrifying in terms of Combat Power; he was also brilliant, more cunning than any crafty old fox. Would he really launch such a hopeless attack? They didn't believe it!

Soon enough, their suspicions were confirmed.

BANG! BANG!

Two explosive sounds erupted like claps of thunder. Immediately after, two figures were sent flying. One was Cao Geng, and the other was the Power General.

The Power General's arms were bent at unnatural angles, clearly fractured. Cao Geng's sword had been shattered on impact, and a broken shard had flown back and pierced straight into his heart. It was a freak accident; one could only say Cao Geng was incredibly unlucky.

"You! You! You!" Cao Geng stammered. Finally, his eyes closed for good. He was dead, bringing a complete end to his malevolent life.

"You've been bitten! My snake's venom is lethal, you're a dead man!" the Poison General declared, looking at Yang Qi.

"This snake?" Yang Qi calmly plucked the creature from his body. With a single motion, he tore it in two and crushed its gallbladder under his foot.

The Poison General's eyes widened in disbelief. She now saw that Yang Qi's body was covered in a layer of Stone Armor. The snake's fangs hadn't pierced it at all.

"I told you," Yang Qi said, shaking his head. "You're all too weak."

With a flick of his finger, a sharp, cold glint of light shot out. It was a Flying Knife formed by Condensing Qi into Soldiers. It pierced directly through the Poison General's throat.

Yang Qi had investigated these people before. Not a single one was innocent; they all deserved to die. Therefore, killing them was an act of public service, and he felt no burden on his conscience.

Yang Qi walked over to the downed Power General and grabbed him by the legs.

"Windmill!"

He suddenly began to spin, transforming the Power General's body into a human club, and then charged into the midst of the other Martial Artists from the Thunder Sect. They were sent flying one after another by the brutal impacts, dying instantly. Soon, all of them lay dead.

Only the Power General remained, and he was barely breathing. Yang Qi didn't finish him off. He likely wouldn't live much longer anyway. At most, he might survive long enough to drag the corpses of Cao Geng and the others back to the Thunder Sect. His body was riddled with devastating injuries.

The entire area fell deathly silent. No one had expected this outcome. The crowd held its breath, too afraid to make a sound. Even now, many felt as if they were trapped in a dream.

Those were three of the mighty six generals of the Thunder Sect! That was Cao Geng, the Young Master of the Thunder Sect! And they were killed? Utterly defeated, just like that? It made everyone feel as though they were dreaming. This dream was simply unbelievable. Crucially, these powerful figures had been utterly helpless before Yang Qi. They were defeated with such ease.

Kong Yue trembled from head to toe as a terrifying realization began to dawn on him. The people he had viewed as invincibly powerful were perhaps nothing more than trivial insects in Yang Qi's eyes. He was so scared he could have wet himself, completely unable to accept the scene before him. What kind of being have I offended? What kind of madman? This is simply unbelievable!

"No, this is impossible! Absolutely impossible!" he shouted, a crazed look in his eyes. After all, in his mind, people like Cao Geng were supposed to be invincible. The current situation had completely shattered his perception of reality. He was truly and utterly bewildered, finding it impossible to accept.

Yang Qi turned to Kong Yue, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Kong Yue, oh, Kong Yue. I still haven't settled the score with you for targeting the Qifei Group last time. If you had run and hid, that would have been one thing. But you actually dared to collude with these people. It seems you truly have a death wish."

"Don't! Don't kill me, please! I didn't do anything, I swear!" Kong Yue dropped to his knees, wailing loudly. Compared to his own life, what was a little humiliation? To someone like him, it meant nothing at all.

"He's the one who instigated Cao Geng to try and capture Ye Qianqian, Zhao Yuman, and Li Qingyan!" Wang He suddenly shouted.

Kong Yue's face turned pale. He cried out, "I was wrong! I know I was wrong! Yang Qi, please, just spare me! You've already offended the Thunder Sect. Surely you don't want to offend the Kong Family as well, do you? You're a smart man. You wouldn't be that foolish, right?"

"And if I let you go, you won't seek revenge?" Yang Qi asked with a smile.

"No, absolutely not! I'll never seek revenge against you again!"

Although he said that aloud, Kong Yue was swearing an oath in his heart. He would avenge the humiliation he suffered today. As soon as he was safe, he would report everything that had happened to the Thunder Sect. He would make Yang Qi pay until his entire family was ruined.

"You're a very dishonest person," Yang Qi said, shaking his head. He suddenly lashed out with a kick to Kong Yue's abdomen.

BANG!

Kong Yue flew a full thirty meters before slamming into a wall. His head lolled to one side, dead beyond any doubt.

Seeing the cracks that had appeared on the solid wall, everyone gasped in shock. Perhaps Yang Qi is no longer human. The destructive power of a Ninth Rank Great Grandmaster was truly terrifying.

Even Yang Qi himself was a little surprised.
