Chapter 392 392 Unbeatable

Chapter 392 392 Unbeatable

Wang Nantian was not certain, but he had to do his best. As the president of the Kang City Martial Arts Association, he had to take on this responsibility.

"Take this!" Wang Nantian wasted no words and immediately launched an attack. A palm strike sent an explosively hot Qi Force erupting toward his opponent, enveloping Zhang San's entire body. Clearly, since following Yang Qi, Wang Nantian's progress had been significant. It just wasn't as rapid as that of the Wolf King and the others.

"Boring tricks," Zhang San scoffed, shaking his head. He suddenly formed his hand into a blade and slashed out, condensing a tangible Sword Qi. It was as transparent and sparkling as crystal, yet as sharp as the legendary Fish Intestine Sword.

"It's Condensing Qi into Soldiers! Father, be careful!" Wang He exclaimed, grasping his fiancée's hand, his nerves shot. Today, they might not survive, but he refused to lose hope.

Condensing Qi into Soldiers, also known as Qi Refining and Shaping, was a skill that Great Grandmasters could technically use. However, wielding it flexibly in the heat of battle was far from simple.

SCHLICK!

A cut so deep it exposed the bone appeared on Wang Nantian's arm, and blood gushed out like a fountain. He was injured in a single move. His opponent's strength was simply beyond imagination.

"You've lost," Zhang San taunted. "This is my true strength. You are too weak!"

Everyone gasped. Cao Geng had ordered Zhang San to finish things within thirty moves, but Zhang San had essentially neutralized Wang Nantian in a single blow. Wang Nantian's dominant arm was his right, and the cut was significant, greatly hampering his fighting ability. It was now impossible for him to win this battle. Only then did the crowd fully realize how ferocious Zhang San was.

"A Third Rank Great Grandmaster! No wonder…" Wang Nantian shook his head with a bitter smile. He, Yan Bo, and Zhao Xiong were merely Second Rank Great Grandmasters, and they had only recently reached this Realm. It was no wonder they would lose to Zhang San.

"Heh, now you understand," Cao Geng said. "In the face of the Thunder Sect, Kang City's Martial Artists are truly no match. I'll give you one chance. Surrender to me immediately, and I will see that your wounds are treated. I can also grant you wealth and honor. In the future, Kang City will belong to me, Cao Geng!"

Defeating Wang Nantian in a single move had made Cao Geng ecstatic. He felt the time was right. He had already made the Martial Artists of Kang City know fear. It was time to state his terms.

"Furthermore," Cao Geng continued, "you must swear allegiance to the Thunder Sect on the spot and sever all ties with the Qifei Group and that man, Yang Qi. From this day forward, you will have no further connection to them!"

"Impossible!" the injured Wang Nantian suddenly roared. He took a step forward and charged at Zhang San like a wild beast, concentrating all his remaining power into his left hand. The attack howled through the air with the sound of a predator's roar.

"Truly, hopelessly stubborn," Zhang San remarked indifferently, slashing out again with his hand-blade. The crystal-like Sword Qi shot from his arm, cut through the space between them, and arrived before Wang Nantian in an instant.

"Not good!" Wang Nantian's face filled with alarm. He summoned every ounce of his strength and threw a punch, attempting to block the terrifying Sword Qi.

SPURT!

Blood splattered as the Sword Qi struck Wang Nantian's shoulder, slicing the flesh open to the scapula. He was sent flying, crashing to the ground. He could no longer control either of his arms.

He knew he had lost. If he hadn't desperately blocked that attack, he would have likely lost his entire arm.

"It seems you still haven't learned your lesson," Cao Geng said coldly. "Very well, let the matches continue. Next! Wang Nantian has lost. He was sixth on the Martial Arts List. Aren't there still five others? Get out here!"

He then looked at Zhang San and issued a fatal order. "In the fights to come, don't hold back. Kill without mercy!"

Cao Geng felt humiliated that no one was obeying him. By now, many of Kang City's Martial Artists were terrified. Someone with Wang Nantian's Combat Power had been miserably defeated in just two moves. Zhang San's strength was simply horrifying.

Among those present, only two were stronger than Wang Nantian: the Wolf King and Zhao Xiong. In truth, Zhao Xiong was not much stronger than Wang Nantian, so he would definitely be no match for Zhang San either. The only one who could pose a real threat was probably the Wolf King. If not for him, today's engagement ceremony would truly become a disaster.

"I will fight you!" Zhao Xiong could no longer hold back. As the City Lord of Kang City, he had never felt so helpless. To be so ridiculed, mocked, and humiliated by someone from the Provincial City… he had to fight.

"Let me. You're no match for him," the Wolf King said, stopping Zhao Xiong as he was about to move. The difference in their Realms was clear: Zhang San was a Third Rank Great Grandmaster, while Zhao Xiong was only a Second Rank Great Grandmaster. Under normal circumstances, Zhao Xiong had no chance of winning. Only the Wolf King stood a chance.

"No," Zhao Xiong shook his head and whispered in the Wolf King's ear. "Even if you defeat him, it's useless. We need to buy time so Mr. Yang can leave Kang City. Mr. Yang can't possibly be a match for Cao Geng and his three top men, do you understand?"

The Wolf King was stunned for a moment, but he had to admit Zhao Xiong was right. Cao Geng and his three top men from the Thunder Sect were too strong; even if Yang Qi came, he likely wouldn't be able to win.

"Wang Nantian already called Mr. Yang and told him to leave quickly," Zhao Xiong explained. "I'll buy some time."

Without another word, he charged at Zhang San.

Zhang San remained disdainful, countering with Condensing Qi into Soldiers. Sword Qi flew out, its sharp hiss incessant.

CLANG! CLANG!

Zhao Xiong drew a longsword and managed to block every bolt of Sword Qi. He was indeed stronger than Wang Nantian. Although he was continuously forced back, he had at least withstood Zhang San's attack.

"Interesting. You're worthy of me drawing my blade," Zhang San laughed. A real battle blade appeared in his hand, and a terrifying Killing Aura instantly radiated from it. The sharp blade followed, striking out.

Zhao Xiong knew he was no match, but he clenched his teeth and charged forward anyway.

BOOM!

Powerful Energy erupted in all directions, riddling the tables and floor with holes and cracks. If the terrified onlookers hadn't moved away, they would have been shredded.

SCHLICK!

Zhao Xiong's longsword plunged into the ground as he himself was flung backward, crashing heavily against the doorframe. He spat out a mouthful of blood, his face turning deathly pale. His sword hand, covered in wounds, trembled uncontrollably.

What a terrifying Sword Skill! Such incredible strength! everyone thought, gasping in shock. Zhao Xiong had lost, too. How could this Zhang San be so powerful?

"I'll do it," the Wolf King said, stepping forward to face Zhang San. "The Martial Artists of Kang City may not be a match for those from Thunder City, but we will not be humiliated so easily!"

"Heh. So what if I humiliate you?" Zhang San mocked. "Do you really think you can defeat me?"
