Chapter 192: Gang Registration Successful
Chapter 192: Gang Registration Successful
> "I’ll be ready to start the personal fitness exercises with you by 8am, instructor."
— Lianhua Kuro
West chuckled softly while staring at the message still glowing faintly on his screen.
"...Hook, line, and sinker."
He leaned back slightly, letting the moment settle as his thoughts drifted back a few days earlier.
—
It had been late afternoon when West was walking through a residential block... not aimlessly.
She was stepping out of one of the apartment buildings, adjusting the strap of her handbag as she moved.
Lianhua Kuro looked very striking with her long, silky black hair and her slightly slanted eyes that gave her an exotic, refined beauty which naturally drew attention without her trying.
She was in a fitted cream blouse that hugged her upper body just right, tucked neatly into a dark high-waisted skirt that emphasized her curves... especially the gentle sway of her hips as she walked. Her legs were smooth, exposed just enough beneath the hem, and she wore modest heels that clicked softly against the pavement.
She carried herself with elegance and the shiny ring on her finger told that she was taken.
West on the other hand, had found his target...
He adjusted his pace slightly and "Accidentally" stepped into her path.
Bump~
"Oh—!"
She staggered slightly, caught off guard.
West reacted instantly, steadying her by the arm.
"My bad," he said smoothly. "Didn’t see you there."
She blinked once before looking up at him.
For just a second, she paused because the tall figure before her radiated with irresistible charm that made one eyes linger on him longer than they should.
"I—it’s fine," she said quickly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I wasn’t paying attention either."
West’s gaze flicked over her briefly, like he was observing her and didn’t hide it.
He tilted his head slightly.
"...You work from home, don’t you?"
That caught her completely off guard.
"...Excuse me?"
Her brows furrowed slightly as a hint of surprise flashing across her face.
"How did you—?"
West shrugged lightly, as if it were nothing.
"Posture."
He gestured subtly.
"Your shoulders are slightly rounded forward. Lower back tension too."
She blinked again with a look of confusion.
"...What?"
He continued, casually.
"Also the way you walk. Slight stiffness in your hips."
Her eyes widened just a little.
"You’ve been sitting for long periods consistently. Probably working on a laptop or desk setup that isn’t ideal."
Now she was staring at him.
"...How did you figure all that out from just looking at me?"
West gave a small, easy smile.
"Comes with experience."
He let a brief pause linger before adding:
"And it’s already affecting you."
That made her straighten slightly.
"...Affecting me how?"
West’s tone changed a bit, turning serious enough to plant concern.
"It starts small."
"Fatigue."
"Back pain."
"Neck stiffness."
"Then it builds."
He stepped slightly closer without invading her personal space but just enough to hold her attention.
"If you don’t fix it early..."
"...it compounds."
"Joint strain."
"Muscle imbalance."
"Long-term posture damage."
His gaze held hers.
"And eventually..."
"...it starts affecting your day-to-day life."
Her expression changed to real concern.
"...That bad?"
West nodded slightly.
"Worse, if ignored."
Silence hung between them for a moment before she exhaled softly.
"...I mean... I’ve noticed some back pain lately..."
West didn’t look surprised.
"Exactly."
She shifted slightly, suddenly more aware of her own body.
"...I guess I should start exercising or something..."
West tilted his head.
"You should," he added before shaking his head lightly.
"But ’trying’ won’t fix it."
She blinked.
"...What do you mean?"
West’s tone came off more direct.
"You need consistency, structure, proper guidance..."
He let the words sink in before adding.
"Otherwise, you’ll start for a few days..."
"...get busy..."
"...and stop."
Her lips parted slightly because that was exactly what happened in the past when she tried exercising.
"...I mean... yeah..."
West gave a small nod.
"That’s why most people fail," West got a little closer at this point. "You need someone to guide you."
She hesitated.
"...Like... a trainer?"
West shrugged lightly.
"Exactly."
West paused briefly before adding.
"I do personal fitness training."
Her eyes widened slightly again.
"...You do?"
West nodded.
"Yeah."
She studied him for a moment, noting his posture and build... to the calm certainty in his voice.
To her it, made sense because West’s current look was lean muscular. He wasn’t overly buff but he had the right amount of muscles that made him look fit and agile at the same time.
"...I see..."
She looked down briefly, thinking before looking back up.
"...Would you be willing to... help me?"
West smiled faintly.
"Of course."
And this same scenario, led to the present...
—
West looked at the message again before chuckling softly.
"...Tomorrow’s going to be interesting."
...
...
The next day, West awoke again to the faint, ever-present label at the corner of West’s vision.
[ Isolating Intruding Specimen ]
At this point, it was like a stain he couldn’t wipe off.
Even now, as West stood before the massive glass doors of the Gang Registration Bureau, his eyes flicked to the corner of his vision again.
"...Still there," he muttered under his breath.
Whatever it meant, he hadn’t figured it out yet but it was starting to bother him because it had already been five days.
But whatever it was could wait because today was important.
—
The Gang Registration Bureau remained a polished architecture radiating authority and order. Unlike the shady trade warehouse West frequented, this place was clean, structured and official.
Awakened guards stood at the entrance and their presence alone was enough to deter nonsense.
West walked in calmly with documents in hand.
Fortunately, the process didn’t take long didn’t take long.
There was a bit of verification, cross-checking and clearance approvals before the final confirmation.
The monitor screens lit up before him.
—

—
West’s eyes lingered on it for a moment seeing that his gang was at the bottom of the rankings but that didn’t bother him because every empire started somewhere.
