This figure had long hair cascading down her back with a cold yet beautiful expression on her face.

This was none other than Miss Zu Li and beneath her, the figure pinned to the ground, was Renzhi.

Her foot was pressed firmly against his face, grinding it into the cracked concrete beneath.

The impact alone had fractured the ground on contact and Renzhi’s face was swollen.

His once proud posture completely shattered.

Around them, several Dragon Fang members stood silently and no one dared to speak or interfere.

"You attacked him?"

Zu Li’s voiced with a tone that was too calm while Renzhi trembled in place.

Her foot pressed harder, making his face sink deeper into the ground.

A muffled scream escaped him.

"What gives you the right?"

The question echoed heavily.

"I—I was trying to reprimand him... as his senior..." Renzhi’s voice broke as Zu Li took the pressure up a notch, causing cracks to spread further across the ground.

Her tone dipped slightly.

Renzhi’s body shook violently.

Her gaze didn’t change even slightly.

Her foot pressed down again just enough to remind him.

She spoke each word with a clear and powerful tone.

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

"And he is certainly not someone you attack."

Renzhi could barely breathe.

Zu Li finally eased the pressure slightly but her foot remained on him.

Her voice was absolute.

There was a beat of silence as she added.

Renzhi’s entire body stiffened.

A cold sweat broke across his skin as the realization hit him like a truck... he had crossed the wrong person.

At the center of one of the open courtyards stood a scene that drew the attention of hundreds of Dragon Fang members.

Grand Captain Renzhi knelt with his head lowered and his fists clenched.

Everyone eyes were widened at the scene unfolding before them... Under normal circumstances, a grand captain commanded respect, authority, and fear... and yet, here he was on his knees, in front of everyone.

"...That’s Grand Captain Renzhi..."

"...Why is he kneeling?"

The murmurs spread like wildfire while a charming figure stood before him with his hands in his pockets, wearing a calm expression as if this was just another day.

To the side, stood Zu Li with her ams folded. She observed everything without a single hint of hesitation.

"Apologize properly," she said coldly.

Renzhi’s fists tightened slightly but he obeyed.

"...I apologize..."

"...for my actions the other day."

He spoke in a normal tone but the humiliation beneath it was impossible to hide.

Zu Li nodded once before turning her gaze to West.

"Well?"

"Do you accept?"

West blinked slightly in surprise. He hadn’t expected that a Grand Captain... one of the upper pillars of the Dragon Fang Gang would be forced to kneel publicly? Just to appease him?

"...You really didn’t have to go this far," West said lightly but Zu Li didn’t respond.

Her eyes simply remained on him, waiting for his approval or disapprove.

West exhaled softly before stepping forward, till he was right in front of Renzhi.

He looked down at him and for a brief moment, their eyes met.

Deep within Renzhi’s eyes, something burned but he said nothing.

West crouched slightly while reaching out and lightly tapped Renzhi’s cheek twice like one would pet something beneath them.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"Just don’t do it again."

After that, he stood straight and turned around before walking away.

Zu Li followed him without a word, leaving Renzhi still kneeling and surrounded.

The silence lasted only a second before whispers exploded.

"Did you see that?!"

"He just—"

"He tapped his face..."
