My crazy Cultivation Path

CHAPTER 118

CHAPTER 118

At the lowest level of the prison.

Asti had decided to use this time to continue his training.

Simone remained more silent. She was cultivating too, but spoke to no one. Waiting impatiently.

Unlike them, Tony tried to extract information from Kurdes.

“I’ve already told you. No one knows what his affinity card is.”

Kurdes replied.

Taking the time to think, Tony suddenly wondered if Kurdes intended to rot here. If they hadn’t come, he wouldn’t have had a plan. Unless...

Crossing his legs, Tony looked into the darkness toward Kurdes and flashed a smile.

“Admit it, Kurdes, you already had a plan to get out of here.”

Tony threw at him.

His question intrigued Zina, who pricked up her ears.

Straightening his back, Kurdes questioned Tony.

“What made you say that?”

Tony continued.

“First, your speed in reshaping our plan. And your eagerness to get involved. Given your previous statements, your clan certainly doesn’t like you. But not to the point of killing you... except for one person. Right?”

“And what do you want to know, Tony?”

Kurdes asked.

Cracking his knuckles, Tony said:

“I want to know your previous plan. How you were going to destroy this island, escape, and kill your sister.”

Well, this Tony doesn’t mince his questions. Zina thought.

“Tony, you forgot the real question. Is my previous plan still in effect?”

Kurdes replied.

Shocked, Tony fell into reflection.

This snake. How could his plan still be in effect when he’s here? He’d need someone outside. And even if he has agents out there, how could he destroy the island? It would take something the size of that creature... Tony thought.

Suddenly, a conversation with Aconé came back to him.

“You... You plan to bring...”

The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

Not letting him finish his sentence, Kurdes placed his hand over Tony’s mouth and whispered in his ear:

“Someone’s coming. So keep quiet, unless you want to be chosen.”

Surprised, Tony turned his attention to the stairs. And he saw her. A young woman with pure gray hair, absent eyes. A medium-weight silhouette. She wore a long dress enveloping her body in blood red. She was quite tall.

In her hand swayed a lamp that illuminated the entire floor. And when she looked behind Tony, her lips stretched, a wide happy smile appeared on her face.

“Well, Kurdes, don’t you want to properly greet your sister?”

Liara declared.

All of a sudden, Tony felt like he was in a movie as an extra.

This girl is Kurdes’ sister. Given her smile, if we weren’t at war and he hadn’t told me she was crazy, I could have been charmed.

Tony thought. Before realizing that with all this light, he could finally see Kurdes’ face. Curiously turning his head, he saw Kurdes for the first time.

His hair was short, silver with a greenish tint. His eyes a blue reminiscent of the sea. His face was so radiant that he would suffer the worst abuses if he were a slave on the island.

But what surprised Tony the most was what Kurdes was wearing. Equipped with a full purple tracksuit, and wearing a long brown coat like a cape held on his shoulders.

If they weren’t in a serious context, Tony would start laughing endlessly.

A coat of that quality with a tracksuit. If the fashion enthusiasts had seen him, he would have been chased night and day. Tony thought.

Without noticing that Liara was now right in front of him and observing him.

“Tell me, why do you feel like laughing?”

She suddenly asked him.

Surprised, Tony instinctively backed away and stared at her without answering.

...

“Aaaa. Seriously, I asked you a simple question, is it that hard to answer?”

Liara declared.

Feeling it would be better for now to go along with her, Tony asked what her question was.

Scrutinizing Tony from head to toe, she asked:

“I had asked if you were close to my brother.”

Her smile changed, a hint of temporary malice appeared, but quickly vanished.

Kurdes quickly understood it was meant for him, and began to pity Tony in his mind.

“No. He just tried to scare us when we arrived. But otherwise, we haven’t spoken.”

Tony replied.

Liara looked at the rest of the cell. She lingered for a few moments on Asti who was cultivating, then turned her gaze to Simone. Her eyes stayed on her for a few minutes.

Now looking at Kurdes, her smile disappeared and gave way to a persistent, questioning gaze. As if she were judging him with her eyes.

“It’s coming soon. I’m going to execute you, and everyone here.”

She declared.

“As expected. But... Hooo, please, don’t tell me you’re trying to see me desperate. Because if that’s it, you’re wasting your time, Liara.”

Kurdes mocked.

Untouched by Kurdes’ mockery, Liara opened their cell and positioned herself in front of Tony.

Knowing it was hopeless, Kurdes tried anyway.

Tony, don’t try to attack her. You’ll just get overwhelmed. Kurdes thought.

...

On his side, Tony saw an opportunity.

A fire sword summoned, his body moved so fast that his right arm wielding the sword was already crashing down on Liara.

There, he saw it: a sword sliced off his right arm. He didn’t have time to scream before noticing that Liara’s face was almost pressed against his.

She, whose eyes were fixed on his chin, delivered a monstrous uppercut, followed by an elbow strike. Tony fell to the ground. His body paralyzed, he hadn’t lost consciousness and was trying with all his strength to move.

“This idiot managed to get a bit close to you. Seriously, Kurdes, a basic footwork was enough. You should choose your associates better.”

Liara exclaimed, picking up Tony’s arm and dragging Tony by the foot with her.

A basic footwork? Who is she kidding? Her sliding step was so fluid you’d think she was really gliding on the floor, and her stability, just incredible. But the personality, better to avoid her. Zina thought.

Closing the cell, Liara waved goodbye to them all by making the sign of a watch, and went back up, dragging Tony like garbage.

“I sincerely hope, Tony, that you won’t let her get what she wants. Otherwise, after the torture, it’ll be your manhood you lose.”

Kurdes whispered.
