The team led by the inspector listened to the news with both excitement and embarrassment. Excited because their work wasn’t in vain and could continue, embarrassed because they had troubled the wrong people. As the two appeared together, looking anxious and pledging the safety of the women in the private room, it seemed likely they came for those women.
The team leader immediately coughed twice, tidied his clothes, and bowed ninety degrees to Lu Qing and Meng Yan, saying, "Sorry gentlemen, our people acted rashly and wrongly accused decent folks. Please accept our apology."
Lu Qing understood the inspector’s difficulties too, "Don’t worry about these things, continue with your tasks."
With Lu Qing’s assurance, the team leader relaxed and waved his hand, leading his crew to run outside.
Qin Miaomiao and the others changed clothes, hearing people rushing out, understanding the crisis was over.
Hua Tiantian saw Meng Yan and immediately threw herself into his arms, her shoulders trembling as she cried.
Xu Jiaojiao and Su Lan felt a bit awkward and quickly said to Qin Miaomiao, "We’re leaving first. We’ll contact you later."

Lu Qing and the inspector team watched the interrogation process through the surveillance room.
