"My brother is coming to visit us..."

"That’s your call," Xiao Zheng shrugged and said, "After all, this is your family matter; do what you think is right. As for me, I have only one thing to say to you."

"Don’t let Zimo feel aggrieved. The ordeal with the Lu family already hurt her so much. As her family, you ought to protect her."

"I understand!" Su Ziwen nodded emphatically.

Xiao Zheng patted him on the shoulder and said, "Alright, let’s leave it at that for now. You hurried over to be the third wheel; today you must pay big. It’s noon anyway, you handle it; I only eat expensive stuff."

Upon hearing this, Su Ziwen laughed and said, "Just a meal? Brother Xiao, you’ve helped our Su family a lot. Forget lunch; even if you were to dine on us for a lifetime, I wouldn’t mind!"

"Are you freaking falling for me? Back off, I’m not into guys!" Xiao Zheng immediately jumped aside, looking wary.

Seeing this, Su Ziwen felt both amused and helpless.

As for Su Zimo, she simply wore a heartfelt smile.
