Mainly because she didn’t know what to say: if she responded to Cen Jin but Yun Qi didn’t want to, she’d be the awkward one later on in their interactions. Responding felt like she was pushing it, and it made her feel peculiar. So, she chose to stay silent, letting Yun Qi decide.
Seeing this, Yun Qi intuitively looked at Ye Lingran, noticing her expression of bewilderment and hesitation, his face softened into a gentle smile, and he nodded, "Really? If Miss Ye doesn’t mind, we can go together!"
"Uh...okay." Ye Lingran dryly laughed while agreeing with the two.
Before leaving, Cen Jin gave Ye Lingran a little push, causing her to look back confused. Cen Jin gave her a meaningful look and made an OK gesture, leaving Ye Lingran momentarily in a daze.
