Their mother-in-law and daughter-in-law exchanged these few words and did so unpleasantly, just when the ceremony was about to begin. Ran Zhihan slowly walked toward the end of the red carpet where her Prince Charming stood waiting for her, and at that moment, suddenly, a group of people burst in, smashing and destroying everything at the banquet.

"Who did this? Don’t you know that today is my engagement party? Where did you people come from? Why would you do such a thing?" Zhang Yichen yelled furiously.

"It was me." Xia Jing stepped forward. "I told them to do it. Ladies and gentlemen, do you know what kind of person the woman in the gown here today truly is? She might act well-mannered, but behind the scenes she will stop at nothing to get her way! Because of her, my son has repeatedly prevented me from returning to our home, and my father-in-law, because of this woman, time after time, has kept my husband and me out of the house.
