Mr. Tycoon's Beloved Wife: The Madam No One Dares to Offend

Chapter 428: Don’t Go Too Far

Chapter 428: Don’t Go Too Far

Hilla was about to speak but was interrupted by Margaret. "I’m not having breakfast at home today."

"It’s not that you have breakfast at home often." Hilla thought.

However, seeing Margaret acting so abnormal, Hilla couldn’t help but ask, "Margaret, are you alright?"

As soon as Hilla finished speaking, Margaret seemed to have thought of something and hurriedly added, "Oh, I’m going to the hospital today. I can’t hang out with you. Tell Riya for me. Have fun. Remember to buy some delicious food for the kids. Look at how thin they are. Hilla, you really don’t know how to take care of babies."

Hilla didn’t expect the lesson from Margaret.

She looked at her two sons and thought, "They are fine."

"You’re going to the hospital?"

Hilla quickly found the key point in Margaret’s words and asked her in surprise.

"Are you sick?"

Hilla frowned. She looked at Margaret and thought to herself,

Why are you going to the hospital?>

Margaret smiled, kind of embarrassed. Then she lowered her head and muttered, "It’s pretty much the same thing."

"Anyway, you will know when I come back."

Hilla felt worried, "Do you want me to go with you?"

She wasn’t eager to hang out with Riya. After all, they could do it anytime.

Margaret shook her head and smiled with a red face. "Julian will be with me, so you don’t have to."

Hilla nodded. She looked up and saw Julian coming over, said, "Let me know if Margaret feels sick."

Although Hilla didn’t need to go to the hospital, she was still worried about Margaret.

Julian nodded, sized up Margaret, and said in a low voice, "Don’t worry. She’s healthy in all conditions but mentally."

What Julian said stunned Hilla.

She had never seen Julian speak in such a mocking manner.

For a moment, she didn’t know what to say.

However, Margaret seemed to be used to it. She glared at Julian and said, "Who are you calling mentally ill? You are the one who is sick. Your whole family is sick."

After saying that, she realized something wrong.

If she was pregnant, the child in her belly would be a Jorgansen too. Wasn’t she cursing her own child?

She turned around and said fiercely, "You are the only one who is sick."

Julian was rendered speechless by her fierceness. He looked at Hilla and said, "Don’t worry, I will take good care of Margaret."

Hilla regained her senses and nodded slightly.

Watching the two of them leave, Hilla still felt worried.

She thought she’d better call Riya and make a raincheck.

At the hospital.

Margaret got out of the car carefully and glanced at Julian with dissatisfaction. "You won’t even open the car door for me."

Julian was speechless.

He walked forward and carefully supported her. "Is this okay?"

Margaret smiled in satisfaction and nodded. "That’s more like it. If I get pregnant, the child in my belly is yours."

Therefore, Julian should treat her very carefully.

Julian nodded. Now he wasn’t sure if he wanted her to get pregnant.

Outside the doctor’s office, Margaret sat there patiently, waiting.

Seeing pregnant women toing and froing with big smiles on their faces, Margaret felt delighted too.

It seemed that it was good to have a big belly.

These women were all so beautiful.

Miss, what’s that in your hand?"

Margaret asked with concern when she saw a manual in the hand of the person beside her.

The woman was stunned. She sized up Margaret and gently explained to her. It turned out that pregnant people had to set up a file first!

Margaret listened very carefully. When being asked, she lowered her head in embarrassment. "I just got pregnant. I don’t know much about it."

Julian, who was sitting next to her, furrowed and said, "Isn’t it too early to say so?

Shouldn’t we wait for the results first?"

The other woman smiled and whispered to Margaret, "Your husband is so handsome. He has a strong aura."

Julian’s presence attracted lots of attention.

The other men in the room suddenly seemed to be lusterless.

Margaret smiled embarrassedly. "He’s just fine!"

Then she secretly sized up Julian. The corners of her mouth slowly curled up, carrying a trace of satisfaction.

"No, wait. I’m pretty too. As beautiful as both of us then.> she thought.

After waiting outside for a long time, it was finally her turn. Margaret was overjoyed.

She rushed into the office, completely forgetting about Julian.

Julian wanted to say something, but he was stopped at the door.

The nurse glanced at him and whispered, "Female Only."

Julian pursed his lips and could only return.

Margaret came out shortly after.

Julian didn’t realize it to be so quick. Just as he stepped forward, Margaret handed him a card. "Go pay the money. I need to do an examination first."

Julian had no choice but to suppress his questions.

He quickly paid the bill.

Because of Christmas, the hospital was crowded. Margaret waited for a long time before she finished the examination.

Her earlier excitement had been slowly diluted by the waiting.

After she calmed down. Her mind started to clear up.

She looked at Julian and asked carefully, "What if I’m not pregnant?" "I shouldn’t have bragged about it." she thought.

Julian glanced at her indifferently and said, "Keep working hard."

"What an answer! You are so intelligent." Margaret thought.

They didn’t inform Horton before they went to the hospital because they weren’t sure about the result.

There was really a feeling of colluding together.

After waiting for a long time, Margaret moved uneasily on the chair.

She muttered, "I should have bought a pregnancy test and tried it out at home first. It would be much quicker."

She remembered in the novels, pregnancy examination was quick.

Those people in the novels entered the hospital. And the next second, the doctor would come out and tell them, "Miss, you are pregnant."

"Why are there so many procedures in real life?" she complained silently.

After what felt like forever. She heard Julian’s indifferent voice. "The result came out."

"Finally!" thought Margaret.

She instantly stood up from the chair and looked at Julian excitedly.

Her eyes seemed to glow, and then she said nervously, "How is it?"

"Don’t keep me in suspense." she thought.

Julian looked at her and nodded seriously. His voice was deep, powerful, and sexy. "You have a tumor, a tumor which will be removed in nine months."

Margaret was stunned, and she thought,

...

Margaret stared at Julian, whose expression turned serious.

Just as she was about to get angry, Julian smiled and said, "You are pregnant." "YOU ARE PREGNANT!" These three words repeated in Margaret’s head. She felt like this was simply the world’s most pleasant voice.

She felt like having an ASMR.

How could there be such a pleasant sentence?

"I’m pregnant." she thought to herself.

"I’m pregnant. Are you sure?"

She had noticed that her symptoms were in line with those of the pregnant female protagonist in the novels. She was wondering how she could not be pregnant.

Margaret’s mood was like a roller coaster. It rushed to the top of the cloud in an instant.

She jumped up in joy. Julian reached out to hold her down.

He laughed, while feeling kind of helpless. "Be careful. You can’t jump around now."

Margaret covered her lips, her eyes flickering. Julian’s joyful expression looked amusing to her.

"I knew I could be pregnant."

Margaret forced herself to stand still. She was thrilled. She would have run around weren’t for the sake of the baby.

Julian felt a little helpless and thought, "We’re both healthy. It was just a matter of time. Who said you can’t get pregnant?"

"That’s great. I can finally take a walk with Halle."

Margaret couldn’t control her smile. And she told herself she would definitely hang out with Riya the next day.

Seeing her being so excited, Julian did not know what to say.

He was happy that Margaret was pregnant. But he didn’t like to be ignored. In fact, he wouldn’t mind if she wasn’t pregnant. But he preferred she was. "Halle is about to give birth. I’m afraid I can’t take walk with her." Margaret held Julian’s arm and said to herself.

Then, she whispered, "I can do it with Riya. Maybe I got pregnant earlier than her." Riya knew about it only two days earlier than she did. The two of them should be

giving birth at the same time.

Margaret frowned slightly and said to herself, "I must give birth earlier than Riya."

Julian said calmly, "10 weeks. Two and a half months. you should be able to do it."

Margaret was too healthy. It had been almost three months since she got pregnant, yet she didn’t feel anything. She’d been eating as usual and sleeping as usual.

"It’s been two and a half months? How is that possible? I was on my period last month."

Margaret was shocked. For a moment, she wanted to rush back to the hospital and have another check.

Julian said, "The doctor prescribed some medicine for you. When you go back, you have to rest in bed more. Don’t run around."

The last sentence was clearly added by Julian.

Margaret, on the other hand, listened very carefully. She quickly nodded and said obediently, "I won’t run around, I won’t. I’ll weld myself to the bed when I get home. I won’t go anywhere."

Julian said, "You also need to exercise properly."

"Yes, you are right," Margaret said.

"Margaret..."

Before Julian could finish, Margaret jumped up and kissed him on the face.

Julian was speechless.

Margaret smiled cheerfully. "Julian, you are excellent."

Seeing that she did not seem to listen to him, he could only shake his head helplessly.

He touched the side of his face, laughed, and thought, "The doctor said that it was not serious anyway. After three months, the fetus would be more stable. You don’t have to rest in bed."

They returned to the Andersons’.

Orlenna had heard from Hilla that Margaret went to the hospital. So, she waited outside worriedly.

Seeing Margaret return, she couldn’t help but go forward and ask, "Margaret, you make me worry every day. Why’s wrong with you?"

Before Orlenna could touch her, Margaret quickly pushed her away and said seriously, "Mom, don’t touch me."

Orlenna thought, "Do you want me to cripple you?"

Before Orlenna got angry, Julian quickly protected Margaret behind him and said in a

deep voice, "Margaret is pregnant."

Orlenna was stunned.

Margaret, who was hiding behind Julian, proudly stretched out her head and said to Orlenna, "Mom, you are going to be a grandmother. Are you happy?"

"For real?"

Orlenna sized up Margaret and then glanced at Julian.

After getting confirmation from Julian, she straightened her back and glanced at Margaret.

"You’re pregnant. You should rest! Be careful of giving birth to a monster." "Mom, what do you have to be so mean?" said Margaret.

"Are you my mom or not? Why aren’t you happy for me?" Margaret complained to herself.

She remembered when Hilla was pregnant. Orlenna was so happy that she kept talking about Hilla all the time.

Orlenna prayed for Hilla and did a lot of things for her.

But when Margaret was pregnant, she seemed to be very calm.

Margaret said unhappily, "Mom, you can’t do anything to me anymore. I am very precious now."

Then she supported her waist and said arrogantly, "This is the future heir of the Jorgansen Group. If you hurt him, you’ll have to compensate with the Anderson Group."

Seeing Margaret being so arrogant, Orlenna glared at her in disdain.

"I agree. But did you ask Bruce if he agrees?" said Orlenna coldly.

"Compensate with the Anderson Group? Who do you think you are?" thought Orlenna.

Margaret glared at Orlenna and said, "Mom, you are partial towards Bruce. But anyway, I’ll have a son too!"

Orlenna waved her hand indifferently and said, "What are you looking at? Give birth to whoever you want. Now get back into the house!"

The baby in your belly might feel cold.> Orlenna thought.

The news that Margaret was pregnant immediately spread throughout the Anderson family.

Hilla looked at Margaret, who was eating fruit on the sofa, and said with a smile, "How is it? Your wish is finally fulfilled, right?"

Margaret proudly raised her head, glanced at Orlenna and Julian, who were busy in the kitchen.

"Of course, I am now the most precious woman in the Anderson family."

Then she added, "In the Jorgansen family too."

Seeing that she was so happy, Hilla couldn’t help but nod, "Yes, right now, you are the most precious. What does Ms. Anderson want to eat? I will go and prepare it for you now."

Margaret pointed at her leg and whispered, "I’m a bit tired from walking."

Hilla pinched Margaret’s calf and asked with concern, "Here? Do you have calcium deficiency?"

"Yes, yes, it is sore there," said Margaret while eating.

Hilla said carefully, "You’ll be alright. Let me give you a massage."

Orlenna came out of the kitchen and saw Margaret lying on the sofa, enjoying a massage from Hilla.

She stepped forward, slapped on Margaret’s hand, and said, "Don’t go too far!"
