Chapter 389: Riya Would Finally Get Married
Chapter 389: Riya Would Finally Get Married
...
After changing the clothes, Riya saw the man waiting in the corridor.
He was tall and handsome. Especially, he was very charming. However, she didn’t have the feeling of being moved.
Riya frowned. When she turned around, the man had already seen her and strode towards her.
"Are you still angry?"
Stefan said in a deep voice. He grabbed her arm and stopped her from continuing to walk forward.
"What are you trying to do now?"
Riya’s eyes turned cold. Then Stefan released his hand. He pursed his lips and said, "Where are my clothes?"
The woman glanced at him and then turned back to her room.
Soon, the suit was thrown to him. Stefan took it and caught up to her again, "How can you not be angry? I did not do it on purpose."
Riya was so anxious that she even wanted the man to disappear from her sight.
She did not know how she could not be angry now, and she did not even know the reason why she was angry.
She hated the current situation and was in the mood to be led by a man. "I can apologize. I won’t do this in the future."
Riya finally stopped. She glanced at the man in front of her and said angrily, "What won’t you do?"
Stefan pursed his lips, looked up at his surroundings, and said, "I won’t pull you to the bathroom."
Riya rolled her eyes and turned to leave.
Stefan followed her and said a little helplessly, "I won’t take off your clothes."
The woman sized him up as if she could not see the feigned calmness in his eyes, "What about yours?"
Stefan said, "Not either!"
Only then did Riya feel a little more comfortable, and her expression eased a little.
Stefan said, "In the future, you should go to my house."
Riya thought that he wouldn’t change himself.
She didn’t want to continue talking to him, so Riya turned and walked out.
At the swimming pool outside the villa, there were already many people. They were chatting with each other with goblets, showing a luxurious scene.
In the compartment of the stairs, two women slowly poked their heads out and looked at the two figures who had already left. Margaret’s eyes were still shining, emitting a strange luster.
"Hilla, did you hear it?"
Margaret pulled Hilla’s arm. She felt excited by the information they had just heard.
Hilla felt innocent and uncomfortable being pulled by her, so she had to nod and say, "I heard it. I heard everything that you heard."
"I didn’t expect that Riya is so wild. What Stefan had done is amazing."
Margaret looked at Hilla with a pair of sparkling eyes as if she had seen dozens of carats of rare pink diamond. She twisted her body toward Hilla and made a gesture of taking off her clothes.
Hilla was so scared that she quickly restrained her and reminded her, "Calm down. This is a matter between Riya and Mr. Key. We shouldn’t interfere. Even if we know, we have to pretend that we don’t know. Remember?"
Margaret couldn’t hear Hilla’s warning to her.
She had seen and heard it, so she couldn’t pretend.
She grabbed Hilla’s hands and trembled with excitement, "What should I do? I think I know that old woman’s affair. Will she kill me?"
"Riya is not that kind of person. Don’t laugh at her about this. Besides, she is two years older than you. She can’t be called an old woman."
If Riya were to hear this, she would probably be in anger for this name.
"I don’t care. She has always bullied me since she was a child. Anyway, she was older than me."
The only thing Margaret could be proud of in front of Riya was her age.
"I think the matter between Riya and Mr. Key is not going well. Don’t get involved. Let’s go downstairs."
They had originally wanted to come up to look for Riya, but they did not expect to hear something they should not have heard. Hilla did not know how to stop Margaret.
Margaret was very excited. She grabbed Hilla’s hand excitedly and looked at Stefan.
She didn’t expect that he was so wild that he could take off his clothes as soon as he said.
Hilla quickly handed her over to Julian while she followed beside Bruce as if nothing
had happened.
"What are you looking at? You are so excited that your saliva is flowing out of your mouth."
Julian’s thumb brushed past the corner of Margaret’s mouth. His gentle fingers carried a trace of warmth.
Margaret didn’t even turn her head as she stared at Stefan in the distance. As she clicked his tongue, she said with a smile, "What a good man. Even if he takes his clothes off, he will look good."
She thought it was surprising that Riya didn’t like him in the past.
Even she thought that she had a problem with her sexual orientation.
Julian’s eyes darkened. Hearing Margaret’s words, a cold smile appeared on his face. "Have you seen it?"
"No, but I want to see!"
The woman crossed her arms and stared at Stefan with her full attention.
She looked like a young girl who was about to fall in love.
Although she didn’t have any thoughts about Stefan, she couldn’t help but be excited when she thought of Stefan’s talk with Riya.
It was not necessary to have a good man because it would be satisfying watching his love.
The men nowadays were getting better and better.
"Margaret, if you continue to look at him, I will dig out your eyeballs."
The man’s cold voice came.
Margaret looked up at him disdainfully and said, "Do you think I’m a fool? This is a lawful society. Do you think you’re so amazing with lots of money? If you dare to dig out my eyes, you will be put in prison."
Looking at her arrogant appearance, Julian said coldly, "Don’t look anymore."
"No!"
Although he took charge of her money, he couldn’t control her freedom.
The man stood in front of her and grabbed her wrists. Then she was dragged into a distant flower bush.
This was a corner of the Marley family, far from the party and the banquet.
Moreover, it was obvious that no one had passed by, and the light was extremely dim.
When she realized that Julian was plotting against her, Margaret said, "What are you trying to do?"
"Don’t you like to watch? The personal experience is better."
The man held her wrists and pressed her palms against his chest.
Margaret was so shocked that she could feel the heat in his chest through the ice silk fabric. She wanted to pull her hand back but was held down by the man.
Leaning down, Julian said in a hoarse voice, "Other men are so good-looking?" Margaret nodded subconsciously, then shook her head quickly.
She raised her head to meet the man’s cold eyes. She smiled and whispered, "No, not as good as you."
But she thought why the weather was so good today, and no lightning struck him to death!
...
When Margaret was carried out, the Marley family’s banquet had already dispersed.
The originally lively courtyard gradually returned to peace.
Margaret was wrapped in Julian’s clothes and stuck her head into the man’s arms.
Right now, she could only keep silent.
"I’ve been looking for her the whole night. What are you doing at my house?"
When Riya saw Margaret being carried out, she was surprised. She tried her best to get close to Margaret.
It was as if as long as she looked a little more seriously, Margaret would be able to strip naked.
Julian had a calm expression on his face, but compared to his expression, the clothes on his body were unsightly.
"It’s getting late. We’ll go back first."
Riya looked at Julian and nodded with a smile.
She thought that young couples were passionate. When they were anxious, they didn’t even care about the occasion.
Before leaving, Riya did not forget to approach Margaret and whispered, "Don’t worry. Your brother and sister-in-law have already returned to the hotel. They won’t disturb you. Take care of yourself."
Margaret thought that she was dead and she didn’t know anything.
"Young couples are so crazy."
Riya watched the two leave and secretly shook her head.
A servant came forward and whispered, "Miss. Marley, Mr. Marley invites you."
Thinking of the gift she sent today, Riya snapped back to reality and said, "Have someone clean up this place and look around the courtyard carefully to see if there are any guests."
After giving her instructions, Riya elegantly walked towards the main room.
Mr. Marley was old, so the banquet didn’t last for a long time. The guests had left early. Riya had thought that he would rest. After she entered, she found that everybody was there.
"Hello."
Riya greeted and finally set her eyes on the youngest man.
He was about the same age as her. Maybe he was two years younger.
Riya retracted her gaze and looked at Mr. Marley. She smiled and said, "Grandpa,
are you looking for me to see the birthday present?"
Riya pretended not to notice the meaning of this meeting and smiled.
Carl smiled when he saw her and beckoned for her to sit down next to him.
"There’s no need to rush the gift. Today your uncles and brothers are here, so we can sit down and chat."
Hearing his words, Riya was stunned. There was no need to think because she could already think of the next conversation.
"Grandpa, it is so late. You should rest early. I will come to see you tomorrow."
Riya was about to get up when she was stopped by her uncle.
"Riya, you’re so anxious. Grandpa hasn’t said anything yet."
Nicholas pressed her down with a face full of love, firmly pinning Riya to the seat.
Riya turned around awkwardly and smiled at everyone. Then, she looked at the old man. "Grandpa, what do you want to say?"
The old man still had a smile on his face. He was afraid that Riya would be unhappy. "I am not forcing you to get married. I just think you need boys who like you."
Seeing that Riya’s expression was about to change, Mr. Marley hurriedly said, "Falling in love is for the sake of getting married. If you don’t get married for the rest of your life, I will be able to support you."
Riya’s expression improved. She stroked the old man’s white beard and smiled, "Then I won’t get married for the rest of my life and accompany you. Ok?"
"It is impossible!"
Behind him, her father Rodney suddenly stood up, but he was glared at by Mr.
Marley.
"Why? The Marley family’s daughter doesn’t have to be worried about getting married. What are you shouting for? She does not get married because those bastards outside are not worthy."
Rodney thought that Riya was spoiled by Mr. Marley.
He obediently sat back down and only stared at Riya.
"Dad, don’t be angry. Rodney is also anxious. We only have Riya as our daughter, so we naturally have to pick the best. How can those boys outside be worthy of our Riya?"
"That’s right. I only have Riya as my younger sister. Grandfather, you must look after her properly. You must choose properly."
Riya silently praised her brother Atticus. She would choose properly. "We must do our best in this matter of choosing."
Everyone presented chimed in. Riya watched carefully, and finally, Jason said.
He looked at Riya with a gentle expression and smiled, "Two days ago, when I went abroad, I found that the lives of those young people abroad were still different from our country. I think the difference is so big. Riya doesn’t like it. She thinks that our country is better."
Riya didn’t know what to say.
"My wife went back to her mother’s home two days ago. She has a distant relative."
"Jason, can you say it directly?"
The old man interrupted impatiently. He held Riya’s hand and said, "It’s this young man. What do you think? Are you interested in meeting him first?"
After saying that, he hurriedly said, "It’s not important to get married. I can’t bear to part with you. You can be friends and have a meal."
Then, he moved closer to Riya’s ear and whispered, "If you don’t like it, just tell me. Let’s change it."
When Rodney heard this, he stood up from his chair in anger. "How old are you?
Other’s children are already in primary school. Even Margaret has gotten married.
Why are you not getting married?"
"What are you shouting for? It is her freedom."
Seeing Riya’s aggrieved and wet eyes, the old man immediately roared at his son.
He thought that even Rodney was his father, he couldn’t control too much.
"You can talk, get to know each other, and make friends. It’s good to change your mood. Look at this young man. He is very energetic."
Allen, who had been ignored and then looked at by all kinds of critical eyes, could only silently lower his head without any choice.
He was not only delicate but also innocent.
Riya felt that she should not pick a man like Bruce or Stefan. A cute little brother was more suitable for her.
"What do you think of this young man?"
Seeing his granddaughter’s gaze, the old man felt very excited.
Riya pursed her lips and frowned. Just as she was about to hesitate, she met her father’s gaze, which was about to cut someone down. She shrunk in fear and whispered, "Why don’t we contact each other first?"
It meant that she accepted it.
The old man felt satisfied.
Others thought that Riya would finally get married.
