Chapter 629 - 628: The Person I Admire Most

Chapter 629 - 628: The Person I Admire Most

Ethan Grant smiled. Serena Sullivan’s medical report wasn’t complete yet, but all her information would be transferred to Mo Da for the next surgery.

"Didn’t he say to wait for the report? Are you daring enough to discharge me?"

Serena Sullivan turned her head and asked unhappily.

It was unclear why Ethan Grant seemed like a different person after talking with Mr. Sterling, so compliant with Mr. Sterling’s words.

"His words, I won’t listen to." Ethan Grant bent down and smiled at Serena Sullivan, "It’s my wife’s words that I’ll listen to!"

After he said this, a kiss gently landed on Serena Sullivan’s lips. Serena’s eyes lit up, her gaze filled with his tenderness and affection, all smiles.

Wyatt Sterling noticed that Mr. Sterling’s mood seemed off after leaving the hospital.

Wyatt asked Mr. Sterling what was wrong.

Mr. Sterling shook his head, not answering. After a while, he asked Wyatt if he was too ruthless, too indifferent, too useless.

Three "too" adjectives, leaving Wyatt puzzled.

"Dad, you’re the best dad, and the person I admire the most."

That was Wyatt’s sincere response to him.

No matter what story Mr. Sterling had with Claire Sullivan in the past, or why he abandoned Serena Sullivan and her sister, Wyatt deeply respected his father.

Because of his words, Mr. Sterling turned to look at Wyatt.

Wyatt’s appearance resembled Claire Sullivan’s more. Initially, when he brought the child back to the Imperial Capital, he didn’t dare look them in the eye, his mind filled with Claire Sullivan’s cries and curses.

He handed the baby Wyatt over to the Sterling Family to take care of.

The family was already intended to do this, afraid that Wyatt, raised beside June Kane, would be mistreated.

Thus, he went to The Sterling Residence weekly for meals, watching Wyatt grow little by little, and without realizing it, Wyatt knew he was his father. On the day he was expected, Wyatt would move a small stool early to wait at The Sterling Family’s old residence’s door.

If he couldn’t come due to other matters, Wyatt felt disappointed but wouldn’t cry or make a fuss with The Sterling Family.

Wyatt probably knew he was left with the family by him and behaved exceptionally well.

Later, as he saw Wyatt again, the eyes full of anticipation and longing made him determined to bring him back home and take care of him.

Thinking he didn’t want his daughters, he must keep his sons by his side.

Compared to his love for Felicity Sterling, his education for Wyatt was strict.

Many times, he wasn’t even a qualified father.

When Wyatt first came to The Sterling Residence, he got sick and feverish to the point of almost becoming a fool or dying.

He kept Wyatt close, not leaving his side.

Simon Sterling never felt he was a good father; today, Wyatt’s words made him happy, yet guilty.

If one day, Wyatt discovered that Serena was his real sister, and Claire Sullivan was his biological mother, would he also hate Simon’s cruelty?

"Wyatt!"

Mr. Sterling thought of all this, wanted to say something to Wyatt, but Wyatt was busy with his phone, not paying attention to him.

He called again, twice in succession, before Wyatt reacted.

Wyatt had just received a message from Claire Sullivan about Wayne Jennings nearly crashing into Serena Sullivan, something not circulated by the media, but many families in high society were already aware.

Claire Sullivan somehow got the news and sent it via WeChat.

Wyatt told Claire Sullivan, Serena Sullivan was fine and should be discharged now.

"Who are you chatting with?"

Mr. Sterling asked again. Wyatt quickly closed his phone, afraid Mr. Sterling would see the chat content between him and Claire Sullivan.

He promised Claire Sullivan not to mention to Mr. Sterling, Serena Sullivan, or anyone about her being in the Imperial Capital.
