"Serena Sullivan!" The dowager’s voice became gloomy as she threatened Serena, "Are you going to just watch Ethan Grant go in?"
"Haha!" Serena wasn’t afraid; instead, she laughed, "Don’t you know where Ethan went early this morning!"
The Dowager Kane hadn’t seen Ethan since she came in, she thought he was busy with other things. She was pleased to find Serena alone in the ward, easier to deal with.
What Serena said made the dowager’s body stiffen, and she realized instantly.
After what happened with Wayne Jennings last night, no matter how important Ethan Grant’s matters were, he wouldn’t leave Serena without ensuring The Sterling Family hadn’t arrived.
He would only leave first if it was related to last night’s incident and he was in a hurry to handle it before the dowager.

Since The Dowager Kane went to The Sterling Family, proposing she marry Wayne Jennings, Serena knew they were targeting her.
