Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure

Chapter 599 - 598: Move In Together

Chapter 599 - 598: Move In Together

"No!"

Serena Sullivan smiled and reached out to touch Ethan Grant’s cheek.

"Let’s go inside and talk."

"Okay!"

Ethan smiled, obediently nodding, and pushed Serena into the bedroom.

Judging from the bedroom’s arrangement, it’s clear that the James Sterling family treated Serena very well.

With pink sheets and wallpaper, it was evident that they pampered Serena like a princess.

"Ethan, they won’t send me to The Ford Family."

"Serena!"

Ethan called out, deep down, he trusted no one but himself.

"Either we go back to Solaria, or you move in with me."

Claire Sullivan, Serena’s mother, had protected both her and her father after marrying Joel Quinn.

Simon Sterling, Serena’s biological father, already had a family with children, and he didn’t acknowledge Serena.

Not to mention the other members of The Sterling Family, who were merely Serena’s uncles and grandparents.

The people closest to her didn’t protect Serena well, let alone others.

"Ethan."

Serena spoke gently, "They really won’t."

"The Ford Family is trading their shares to get you there, can you guarantee they aren’t tempted at all?"

"Serena, I only trust myself!"

"I trust them," Serena asserted.

She looked around and pointed to a closet full of clothes, saying, "All my clothes are provided by the First Mrs. Sterling, she takes me out shopping whenever she has time, afraid that I’d be too bored at home."

"Today at the Sterling family mansion, she even got into a fight with Mrs. Sterling and the Ford family’s matriarch for me."

"The Eldest Master cooks for me every day, and his dishes are delicious."

"The Eldest Master and the Second Master used to dislike talking to women, now they attend banquets and chat with those socialites just to promote my studio."

"I can feel they genuinely care for me."

"Ethan, I like it here."

Serena looked up at Ethan, whose expression had slightly softened.

She reached out again and pulled Ethan, "Let me stay here for a while."

"If you really miss me, why not move here and live together?"

"Live together?"

Ethan was momentarily stunned, intrigued by the suggestion.

He came over, initially worried Serena might be bullied, but mostly because he wanted to hold Serena in his arms every night.

This is his wife!

Thinking about holding Serena, a fire ignited inside Ethan as he looked at Serena with increasing warmth.

"Alright!"

He responded.

In front of Serena, Ethan was easily persuaded.

In work, he was decisive and insightful, but with Serena, as long as she spoke to him gently and held his hand, he would absolutely surrender.

After the two of them settled the matter, Ethan turned to open the door.

First Mrs. Sterling was anxiously waiting outside, and when she saw Ethan emerging with a smile so soon, she assumed Serena had agreed to leave with him. She walked over to check and seeing Serena still seated at the desk with no intention of leaving, she turned to ask Ethan, who was leaving Deepwood, "Ethan, where are you going?"

"Mom, I’m going home to pack and then move in to live with Serena."

Move in together?

First Mrs. Sterling had no objections, in fact, she was delighted, "Hurry up, hurry up!"

She urged Ethan to pack, then organized the maids to find blankets and toiletries for Ethan.

Having given birth to two sons, First Mrs. Sterling always wanted a daughter; a daughter who was obedient and beautiful, but a daughter who would eventually marry into another family.
