Chapter 587 - 585: The Dowager Kane’s Intentions

At the Dowager Kane’s place, every time she went there, she would be chastised hundreds of times, being told she was unfilial, that she was no real kin to them, and that the food at James Sterling’s place was no good, making her lose weight.

After the incident of apologizing at the hospital, Serena Sullivan knew that the Dowager Kane was the type who was harsh on the outside but soft on the inside.

The two of them went inside. Butler Lowell, along with the servants, stood outside. Seeing this arrangement, it was clear absolutely more than just Mrs. Sterling had come.

"Good day, madam, and young mistress."

Butler Lowell approached, greeting them with a smile, "The Dowager Kane has arrived."

First Mrs. Sterling smiled, understanding why there needed to be so many servants waiting outside.

"My grandson insists on taking a picture of that Guanyin, saying it resembles me."

The excited voice of the Dowager Kane came from inside, and First Mrs. Sterling listened with a derisive snort.

"Filial! He truly is filial."

"With such a filial grandson, Madam Kane is truly blessed." The First Mrs. Sterling echoed her reply.

The Dowager Kane responded, "I have only one grandson, so I haven’t hurried to find him a match over the years."

It’s not that she didn’t help him date; it’s that Wayne Jennings simply didn’t need it.
