Chapter 580 - 579
Chapter 580 - 579
"There’s more." Anna paused, unsure if Serena knew about what she was about to say, or if knowing would upset her.
"What is it?" Serena asked, noticing Anna’s hesitation.
"Serena, there’s something I want to say, but please don’t get mad."
Seeing Anna’s cautious expression, Serena smiled, "I won’t get mad."
Serena thought, she wouldn’t let herself get upset over other people’s affairs anymore.
"It seems like your mom is seeing Uncle Felix."
After Felix Lockwood and Renee Grant’s divorce, he often visited The Sullivan Family, which started rumors.
At a party, Felix attended with Claire Sullivan and they ran into Renee.
Renee saw the two together, jumped up immediately, and pointed at Claire, calling her a vixen.
Felix defended Claire, stating that he and Renee were divorced and that he was pursuing Claire Sullivan.
This incident had been widely gossiped about in Solaria, and Anna wasn’t sure if Ethan had talked to Serena about it.
"Uncle Felix had always liked your mom but never succeeded. Don’t worry, your mom won’t agree to it."
With divorced parents finding someone new, many things are hard for the children to accept.
Anna worried that Serena, who had been hurt by Claire Sullivan’s remarriage issues, might feel uncomfortable, but not mentioning it might hurt Serena later.
After hearing what Anna said, Serena smiled, "I know about this."
"Ethan told me."
"It’s her own business."
"You don’t object?" Anna noted Serena’s calm reaction.
"Is Felix Lockwood worse than Joel Quinn?"
Serena asked Anna; she never objected to Claire remarrying. She objected to the kind of man Claire chose.
As for her biological father—Simon Sterling, whether he had a chance to reconcile with Claire, wasn’t her concern.
Everyone has the right to choose their own happiness.
"Mm-hmm!" Anna nodded and smiled, "As long as you don’t object."
Serena noticed something and asked, "Did someone ask you to come and ask me?"
Anna knew nothing could be hidden from Serena, so she confessed that Felix had called her specifically about his and Claire’s matters.
He wanted Serena’s approval.
Serena chuckled, noting that Felix truly cared for Claire Sullivan.
They waited at the hotel for Finn Chandler to arrive.
Before long, Finn, with his phone in hand, searched for the private room Anna mentioned. The layout of this club was quite complex, winding around like a maze, and from the outside, the rooms looked similar, requiring a glance at the sign above the door.
As she raised her head to look at the sign, a familiar voice from behind froze her in place.
"No need to call Ethan; he’ll only arrive earlier than us!"
The gentle voice had just echoed in her phone.
No need to turn around; Finn was sure that the approaching person was Julian Ford.
But wasn’t he in Solaria? What was he doing here? When did he arrive?
Finn’s mind became a muddled mess.
"What are you doing here?"
As the footsteps got closer, so did the voice, almost as if whispering right in her ear. Finn’s cheeks flushed, and she hurriedly lowered her head to run away.
Would Julian be mad knowing she deceived him?
She turned around, and a nearby private room’s door opened. Anna emerged, puzzled about where Finn intended to go, "Finn, where are you going?"
As usual, Anna reached out to grab Finn’s hand. Finn, startled, recoiled hurriedly, but in her panic, she stumbled backward, straight into Julian Ford behind her.
