"Jack?!" Her heart stopped, despair filling her purple eyes.
A tub full of ice cubes, and he was entirely submerged in it, looking more blue than a damn Smurf! Then there was all the shaking, his body clearly trying to resist the cold.
Had this been Infinite, he would have long gotten Hypothermia warnings! Seeing him like this, he totally looked like he was trying to commit suicide.
The shock was so much that her ability activated by itself! As the world turned green, time seemed to freeze as she saw every single detail of him.
Every quiver of his
Every labored breath.
Every heartbeat, slower than the last
Also, he was wearing his Infinite Helmet?! Hell, there was even a suicide note by the side?! Yet, as she subconsciously read it, her beautiful face turned utterly strange...

There was no time to lose, none whatsoever! And yet as they approached, they were suddenly stopped by the gorgeous girl that seemed to be his sister?!

"WE WAIT!" She powerfully declared.
Wait, wait, for what? Even she wasnโt sure! Her brother had definitely turned crazy. Why else would he do that?! And yet, even now, she had blind trust in him.
Every fiber of her being screamed at her to "save" him immediately! Every fiber of her being screamed at her to get him out and embrace him until he regained colors.

No! At that moment, she stopped herself.

Amidst the crisis, the green glow around her radiated even stronger as she observed him non-stop! She would watch over him and make sure whatever he was doing worked!

"Move out of the way alreadyโ eh?!" They tried to bypass Lilly, except a second later, the world turned dark as she mercilessly attacked them!
โEveryone in this family was INSANE!โ Was their last thought as the darkness consumed them, leaving a worried Lilly grasping her brotherโs shaking hand.
Whatever he was doing in Infinite seemed intense...
In fact, Jack had just returned to the Volcano! He awoke to Moon Moon busy carrying him around like a potato sack while dodging the elementalsโ attacks!
Except there was something utterly strange with him. As he regained consciousness, he moaned in relief?!

Instead of looking bothered by it, he faced the inferno with the most radiant smile. A second ago he had been "dying" of frost IRL, but now he was finally so very comfortable!
His entire being had been in survival mode, and now his brain was sending him infinite pangs of pleasure as it felt the inferno around him. Finally some well-deserved heat!

Part of it was true! His vitals had actually improved slightly upon coming here? He wasnโt shivering as much, and the stress on his body had actually gone down a fair bit?!
This was all false. It was akin to a placebo, Jackโs brain getting confused by the new sensations. Instead, this new peaceful state would only accelerate his demise!
But he still had a short window before it ended and needed to use it ASAP!
"We have work to do. Moon Moon, I need you!"
"Woo!" (What are we doing, Master?)
"Weโre going on a walk!"
Going on a walk? With its masterโs body shaking so much? This made all the sense: walks always made Moon Moon better, and it would definitely help its master too!
At that moment, the duo... went on a walk?! Anyone seeing this scene would have questioned their eyes and possibly gone insane, but thatโs all they actually did.
[Host Has Gone on a Walk?! ERROR! ERROR!]
[Vitals still down! Cold?! Hot?! Unknown?!]

Jack turned off ALL notifications.
He even embraced that weird state of his as he walked. Right now, he felt so comfortable, right now he felt so sleepy, right now he felt so damn good!
He just felt like lying down on the volcanoโs floor and taking a nap for a while, but he forced himself to keep going...
Walk, walk, walk walk some more. Then again, could this still be called a walk anymore? At first it started as Jack walking his pet, but then it quickly turned strange.

Over and over, he did the same actions in the strangest way possible. The more he did, the stranger he looked. He was already yawning all the time and yet not stopping.
He felt so comfortable.
He felt so damn sleepy too.
He could feel his eyes closing by themselves.
He felt Moon Moonโs fur under his hand as if a guide wolf.
At one point, he stopped looking entirely, simply going with the flow! Yet every time he seemed about to fall off a cliff or get hit by a fireball, his trusty wolf would gently howl.
And thatโs when his body would move by itself, as if by instinct. Before long, his entire life was nothing but that series of repeated actions over and over and over and over.
Head deeper. Activate Water Pearl. Dodge rock elemental. Dodge Flame Elemental. Create shelter in a nearby cave. Head deeper. Activate Waโ before long, he started dreaming.
He stopped being in a volcano and found himself in a land of death, one that came from his past life, yet it only made him chuckle a bit. Ah right, it was this scene.
He was the Herald of Light again...
