Chapter 1418 77: Hope Blooms Here—Tiraphi (Part 3)
Four hours later, as Loloria once again exploded the underwater silt, an unmistakably different giant warship silhouette appeared in their view.
"This is... 'Song Disaster' warship." Loloria hesitated for a few seconds before shouting the warship's name.
"One of the 54 warships we boarded when we attacked back then." She reminisced.
"I thought they were all damaged, didn't expect to see one here, but it seems like it won't be able to fly anymore, though the equipment left on the warship can still be used." Loloria circled the warship buried underwater, then found a spot and began cutting with the Light Saber extended from her arm.
After more than ten seconds, a square armor was cut off, revealing the passage inside. Loloria led the two down through the passage, walking in the deserted corridors and rooms.
The facilities here are clearly much more advanced, with all kinds of high-tech composite materials and specially made alloys of extremely high strength. Even after soaking underwater for so many years, they remain smooth and undamaged.
As they shuttled inside the warship, the trio kept moving closer to the deepest part. At this point, even Tilan and Celestia started to sense a special kind of fluctuation. Although they couldn't analyze or decode it, they could perceive the peculiarity of this frequency.
Finally, when Loloria melted through the deep inner door of the warship with her Light Saber, the gigantic plaza space inside came into view, with countless Artificial Angels densely asleep here. Their appearances and looks remarkably similar to Loloria, all between 15-20 years old, with mechanical wings on their backs, bodies composed of crystalline limb modules, and remarkably similar to human size.
Some of these Artificial Angels hang on the walls, some stand in the corners, some kneel by the corridors, all motionless as if dead. Yet, there are no wounds on them. This situation is particularly eerie and peculiar for mechanically-bodied Artificial Angels, as theoretically, unless the core is damaged, Artificial Angels shouldn't cease activity as long as they have energy.
"Everyone..." Loloria swept her gaze over them and discovered many familiar faces, some of whom were her companions from back then, participating in the expedition and arriving on this planet together.
While Loloria was immersed in astonishment, Tilan and Celestia's attention was drawn to the wreckage at the very depth of this hall. There stood a wind-eroded rock, a unique Artificial Angel with only a head and half a shoulder, impaled by an incomparably bright Holy Sword through its eye socket, pinning it to the rock.
The orange to purple gradient hair draped down, obscuring most of the face of the head. The exposed Sword Edge was straight, like snow white ivory, with a pattern of gold and silver silk lines etched on it, wings interwoven, like vines encircling the central flowing artistic alphabet letters.
'Hope Blossoms Here——Tiraphi'
Even after a millennium, the Holy Sword still radiates ripples that slow the flow of time. The surrounding air and everything seemed to fall into stasis, with only few grain-like golden and silver Light Sand floating around the sword, like twinkling Fireflies.
This is a genuine Holy Artifact. Even though Tilan and Celestia have never seen such a creation before, the authority emanating from the Sword is strikingly clear, akin to a torch in the night, burning everything.
This was the divine object condensed and separated from the Solar Crowns when they were fully formed and at their peak, capable of elevating mortals to the pinnacle of Sequence 9, a Holy Creation that could slay a God.
Its condensed Holy Sanctuary sealed all the present Artificial Angels, as if entrapped in a stasis of time, and this fragile balance was ultimately broken when the trio stepped into here.
