Chapter 2300 - 2276: Source of Danger

The place to meet Taylor must be chosen carefully.

Gao Yang thought about where it would be best to pick up Taylor. It had to be outside of America, because if Taylor was truly exposed or caught the CIA’s attention, staying in America would be utterly foolish.

After pondering for a moment, Gao Yang said urgently, "How about Mexico? Any city will do. It’s close, has lots of flights, and Taylor can get there quickly."

Glolov said solemnly, "Who will meet him? If Taylor is being watched, anyone who shows up risks exposure."

Rubbing his hands together, Gao Yang whispered, "None of us can go."

In Satan, only Number Thirteen or Yake is suitable for delicate work, but Number Thirteen has left and Yake isn’t here, leaving Gao Yang and his men without anyone skilled in disguise.

After contemplating for a moment, Gao Yang looked up and said, "Ask the Cleaners for help. First, help Taylor out of his predicament; then, we’ll know what happened."

After quickly exchanging glances, Li Jinfang said in a deep voice, "Will the Cleaners help?"

"They will."

Gao Yang picked up the phone and said urgently, "In a sense, we’re all grasshoppers on the same rope. Our cooperation with the Cleaners runs deep. They will definitely help."

Picking up the phone to dial Murphy, Gao Yang said gravely, "Buddy, it’s basically confirmed now. My man hasn’t betrayed us, but he is indeed being watched by the CIA for unknown reasons."

Murphy replied solemnly, "Are you sure?"

"Absolutely certain. I just talked to Taylor. He didn’t dare say anything. He must be wiretapped or directly monitored. I want to help him out in a place in Mexico, then we’ll know what’s happened, but I need your help. We don’t have the right people for this task."

Murphy immediately said, "Mexico City. Have him fly to Mexico City right away. We can help him out right at the airport."

Gao Yang felt a little uneasy and whispered, "Buddy, I must remind you, Taylor is my man; he hasn’t betrayed us. He may indeed be in some trouble now, but you absolutely cannot harm him without my consent, okay?"

Murphy whispered back, "Whether there’s betrayal, we’ll have criteria. But I’ll hand him over to you to deal with. Just that I must see him myself, judge personally if he’s defected. Ram, our cooperative relationship is very deep. You understand what I mean, right?"

Gao Yang took a breath and said, "Understood, then we’ll both go to Mexico City. You and I both go. What do you think?"

Murphy said flatly, "There’s a flight to Mexico City in an hour. You better hurry. I’ll wait for you at Kennedy Airport. There’ll be a ticket reserved for you. Try to get it quickly."

Gao Yang hung up the phone and said to the group, "Kennedy Airport, take me there quickly. No, I forgot Joseph; you stay here, don’t move, and wait for my news."

Li Jinfang asked, "No need for our help?"

Gao Yang stood up, pointed to the ground, and said, "This is where you’re most needed. Still prepare for the worst. Once things change, it’ll be up to you, Big Dog."

Gao Yang gestured making a phone call, Glolov nodded and said, "I understand. I remember those codes, can’t forget."

Gao Yang nodded, then rushed out the door, signaled Joseph, and shouted, "Drive me to the airport."

Returning to his home, when Joseph saw Gao Yang’s garage, he whistled and said, "This Rolls-Royce is handsome."

Gao Yang pointed to the Mercedes beside it and said, "Drive this."

Sitting in the passenger seat, Gao Yang said gravely, "Did you bring a gun?"

"Of course, need me to put it down?"

Gao Yang pulled out his own pistol, opened the glove box where three pistols were placed. After putting his personal 1911 inside, Gao Yang took out a spare gun from the glove box and whispered, "No, I just wanted to know if I should lend you one."

Joseph drove out, and after nearly an hour, they arrived at Kennedy Airport.

Gao Yang made a phone call and then quickly saw Murphy, who was chatting happily with a woman, not even glancing at Gao Yang. But the person not far from Murphy stood up, quickly walked to Gao Yang’s side, and whispered, "Follow me."

Quickly leading to an airline ticket counter, which wasn’t open and thus had no one waiting in line, but once the person guiding Gao Yang approached, the sign for stopped ticket sales was removed, and an old man sat at the ticket counter.

"Two tickets for Mexico City."

The ticket seller looked at Gao Yang and then at the guide, then quietly said, "But there’s only one ticket left."

"Two tickets, a passenger had some urgent issue and won’t board."

The ticket seller said nothing else, quickly issued two tickets, and directly handed them to the person guiding Gao Yang.

"This way, directly to boarding."

Leading Gao Yang to a security checkpoint not open to the public, glanced around to ensure no passengers nearby, the originally closed checkpoint began security checks. The guide stayed for inspection, while Gao Yang and Joseph passed under the noses of several security staff without any check.

Gao Yang boarded the plane, sat down according to the ticketed spot, and shortly thereafter saw Murphy.

There was still an empty seat beside Gao Yang; Murphy sat next to him and whispered, "What’s the situation now."

"Taylor’s been informed to go to Mexico City, but hasn’t been told what to do after landing."

Murphy glanced at his watch and whispered, "You’ll know once there."

Hardly waiting, after Murphy boarded, the plane immediately taxied onto the runway, then took off.

Murphy whispered, "This is serious, you may not realize, but I’d like to remind you that anything potentially exposing the name ’Cleaners’ is very grave for us, especially given the depth of our cooperation, making the crisis Taylor brings extremely serious for us."

Gao Yang whispered, "My man has no issues. If there are problems, they’re from the CIA."

Murphy stated plainly, "But eliminating a dangerous source on our side is more convenient than eliminating a strong and dangerous opponent, isn’t it?"

Gao Yang whispered, "Murphy, don’t think about using murder to silence my people. I won’t compromise. So think about resolving the crisis in a more troublesome way."

Murphy rubbed his shiny head, exhaled, and said, "Ok, understood."
