Karima felt relieved, but Gao Yang felt burdened.

Karima smiled bitterly, nodded slightly, and softly said, "Understood, it’s okay."

Seeing Karima looking heartbroken suddenly made Gao Yang’s heart ache. Subconsciously, he wanted to open his arms, but after raising them halfway, he suddenly pulled them back and then softly said, "Let’s, let’s talk about work instead."
