Chapter 206 - 207: The Extra Person
Chapter 206 - 207: The Extra Person
[An extra person?]
[Are you sure that was even a person?]
[I bet it wasn’t a person. So creepy!]
"The pen just kept spinning and spinning. All of us were terrified. Shanshan regretted it too, but we were all too scared to blame her or anything."
"There are four of us in the dorm. We were so scared that night that we paired up, two to a bed. Nobody dared to talk about what happened, but deep down, we were all horrified."
"At first, everything was normal. We didn’t see any ghosts or strange things like that."
"Our dorm has loft beds with desks underneath. Shanshan’s bed is across from mine. But that night, she was sleeping with another roommate, which means her bed should have been empty."
"But then, I woke up in a daze and saw what looked like someone sleeping in her bed. The covers were raised, as if a person was lying on their side. But ever since we played that game, none of us had even left to use the restroom, let alone opened the door. So where in the world did that person come from?!"
[I’m literally covered in goosebumps.]
[I gotta say, this is genuinely terrifying!]
[Maybe Shanshan was already dead?]
As she said this, the girl’s expression grew even more panicked. Her lips began to tremble slightly.
It was as if she had recalled something utterly horrifying.
"I didn’t dare to say a word, but the girl next to me, who had her eyes squeezed shut, gently scratched my palm. That’s when I knew she’d noticed something was wrong, too."
"I held my breath, not daring to make a sound. She did the same, shaking all over. But before I could even process my fear, something even more terrifying happened on that bed."
"The person on the bed got down!"
[Holy crap, could this get any scarier?!]
[I have the same kind of loft bed. Even though it’s daytime, my roommates are all out and I’m alone in my dorm. I’m so scared right now!]
[Why am I listening to ghost stories at work? This is scaring me to death!]
[To the person above me: that’s what you get for slacking off!]
Su Nian nodded, her expression placid. She didn’t seem to feel the slightest bit of fear from the story.
She also noticed that the other two girls were now huddled together, nervously glancing around.
They were so jumpy, it was as if they were worried a ghost might pop out at any moment.
Su Nian lowered her gaze and said nothing as the girl continued her story.
"After it got down, it started wandering around the room. It was pitch-black, so we couldn’t see anything clearly. We had planned to leave the lights on all night because we were scared, but for some reason, they’d been turned off. No one dared to get up and turn them back on, so we just had to endure it."
"It just kept wandering around on the floor below, as if it was looking for something. I realized then that Shanshan and the other girl must have been awake too, but just like us, they were too afraid to make a sound. Nothing else strange happened that night... except that thing just wandered around the dorm room. It wandered around for the entire night!"
[Damn it, that’s even scarier!]
[I think that ghost could win a ’Model Employee’ award, hahaha!!]
[To the person above: are you allergic to ghost stories or something?!]
[No joke, ’Model Employee’ is a real possibility. It worked a full all-nighter!]
[I just wanna say, I think this conversation has gone off the rails.]
"We endured it until dawn. But even when the sun came up, it was still wandering around down there. Shanshan couldn’t take it anymore and made a small noise..."
"But we never expected..."
