Make Me Moan Mr Therapist.

Chapter 123: Please say yes Gabe.

Chapter 123: Please say yes Gabe.

Before Gabe could say anything further, the door to Alex’s office swung open.

A burly man dressed in a well-tailored black suit stepped inside. His presence alone commanded authority. He stopped a few feet from the desk and bowed his head respectfully.

"Greetings, Big Boss. Your friends and the rest of the staff are downstairs. They’re waiting for your announcement."

His deep voice carried a formal tone that instantly made Gabe stiffen.

Big boss? Is Alex right or this is just an act?

Gabe’s brows furrowed in confusion as he slowly turned to look at Alex.

"Shall we?" Alex asked calmly, his tone gentle as his eyes settled on Gabe’s stunned face.

Without waiting for a response, Alex rose gracefully from his seat. He walked around the desk, positioned himself behind Gabe’s wheelchair, and began pushing him toward the door.

"Alex, what exactly is...."

"You’ll see," Alex cut in smoothly, his voice unreadable.

They entered the elevator. The ride down felt unusually long.

The elevator doors soon slid open with a soft ding as they’ve arrived downstairs.

The moment Alex pushed Gabe out, the once lively and noisy company floor fell into dead silence.

It was as though someone had pressed a mute button.

Employees froze mid-conversation as well as some customers who were told to leave but didn’t as they agree to cooperate.

Now what is he up to? Romeo thought inwardly, scoffing as he folded his arms across his chest.

"I apologize for disturbing everyone today," Alex began, his voice firm yet controlled as it echoed across the hall. "As you all know, I rarely come to this company personally. However, today is different. I have a very special announcement to make."

A ripple of unease passed through the crowd.

"He’s... apologizing?"

"He never apologizes..."

"Does this mean he’s about to restructure the company again?"

"I don’t want to be transferred. Even though we’re not treated like ordinary staff here, we’re paid extremely well..."

Whispers spread like wildfire, though no one dared to raise their head fully.

Alex continued, his tone unwavering.

"I wanted to start the announcement here before addressing the other companies under my name."

Other companies?

Gabe’s stomach dropped.

Under his name?

Just what kind of man is he?

"I want to introduce someone very special to you all," Alex said, his voice lowering slightly. "Someone responsible for this new change in me. As you all know, I do not involve myself personally in matters like this. I do not make appearances without reason. Yet here I am."

His gaze softened.

"And I am here because of one person."

A heavier silence fell.

Lucas stepped forward slightly, unable to hold back any longer.

"Just what are you trying to do, Alex?" Lucas demanded, his tone edged with frustration. "What are we doing in a company that belongs to one of the most powerful men in this country? Don’t tell me you’re close to him. Even if you are, you’re just a caretaker. That doesn’t give you the right to gather the entire staff like this."

"Exactly," Romeo added with a scoff. "The owner isn’t dead. He travels, yes but he’s very much alive. If there’s an issue, you report it to him. You don’t take over and make announcements like this."

Before Alex could respond, the burly man from earlier stepped forward, his expression darkening.

"Watch your tone," he warned coldly. "No one interrupts Big Boss when he is speaking."

The authority in his voice was enough to make Romeo and Lucas stiffen.

They exchanged confused glances and swallowed hard.

Big Boss?

Fred leaned toward Damien, whispering nervously, "What is going on with your friend? What exactly is he planning?"

Damien’s gaze never left Alex. His lips curved slightly.

"Just watch," he murmured.

Meanwhile, Gabe sat frozen in his wheelchair, his thoughts in chaos.

Alex then turned slowly toward him.

"And that special someone," Alex said, his voice softening in a way no one had ever heard before, "the man who unknowingly stole my heart... is right here."

A collective gasp erupted across the lobby.

Shock. Disbelief. Confusion.

Every pair of eyes shifted toward Gabe.

"The man I didn’t even realize I had fallen in love with until recently," Alex continued, his gaze locked onto Gabe’s trembling form. "The one who changed me without even trying. The one I want beside me... not only in my life, but in my business."

He placed a hand gently on the handle of the wheelchair.

"My partner," he declared firmly. "The man who will rule the Golden Factory alongside me."

What?!

Is this a love confession?!

Gabe screamed internally, his face burning as blood rushed to his ears.

The confession in the bathroom at the vacation house wasn’t enough and now this?!

And... Golden Factory?

Rule alongside him?

Big boss?

Is Alex more than just the therapist I know him to be?

Before Gabe could process anything further, Alex suddenly stepped in front of him.

And then....

He dropped to one knee.

Gasps echoed violently through the hall.

Even the employees who had maintained composure couldn’t hide their widened eyes now.

From his back pocket, Alex retrieved a small velvet ring box.

He opened it slowly.

Inside sat a diamond ring which made Gabe and everyone present eyes to widen open in shock.

"Will you be my boyfriend?" Alex asked, his voice steady yet deeply sincere.

The vulnerability in his eyes was unmistakable.

"I know we don’t know each other well enough yet," he continued, softer now, "and perhaps this seems sudden. But I am not asking for forever ....not yet. I am asking for a chance."

His fingers tightened slightly around the ring box.

"Give me the opportunity to know you properly. Let us date. Let us learn each other’s flaws and strengths. Let me show you that what I feel is real."

The entire lobby held its breath.

"Be my boyfriend," Alex repeated quietly.

Fuck! Gabe swallowed hard.

His mind was spinning all while his heart was racing.

I should really be the one doing this... not Alex.

Gabe ran his fingers through his hair, jaw tightening as frustration coiled in his chest.

I feel like a total jerk right now. Even if I’m never going to propose marriage to you... at the very least, I should be the one asking you to be my boyfriend.

His throat bobbed as he swallowed hard.

You doing this... it makes me feel more like an omega than the alpha I am.

The thought stung. His pride as an alpha had always been a silent pillar beneath him....unyielding, unquestioned. And now, with Alex standing before him like this, vulnerable and pleading, that pillar felt shaken.

"Woah... I really can’t believe this." Fred muttered under his breath, swallowing hard as his face contorted in disbelief. His eyes flickered between the two men. "Are those two really becoming a thing now? Like... seriously?"

"They’re not a thing yet," Damien corrected with a heavy sigh, though his gaze never left Alex. "Not unless Gabe agrees to be his boyfriend."

There was something almost protective in Damien’s tone.

"I hope he says yes," he added more quietly. "This is the first time Alex has ever lowered himself for anyone. Do you have any idea what that means?"

Fred blinked. "Just who exactly is Alex?" he asked, curiosity burning in his eyes. "How did he even manage to gather the staff and customers here like this?"

His gaze swept across the room. Employees stood still, customers whispering excitedly. Phones were discreetly raised. The atmosphere felt electric.

And besides, Fred continued inwardly, dragging a hand through his hair in frustration, Gabe is an alpha, not an omega. Their entire therapist-client relationship was built on a lie from the very beginning. And now Alex wants him to be his boyfriend?

The situation felt absurd. Unreal.

"He’s the big boss of this place, of course," Damien replied with a light chuckle, as if that explained everything.

Fred’s eyes widened. "The boss?"

Before he could process it further, the crowd suddenly erupted.

"Say yes!"

"Say yes!"

"Say yes!"

The chant grew louder as staff and customers alike were unable to contain their excitement. Some clapped. Others leaned forward in anticipation. No one could quite believe what they were witnessing, yet there it was unfolding boldly before their eyes.

At the edge of the room, Romeo stiffened.

"What the hell is going on, Lucas?" Romeo asked, his voice barely above a whisper. His eyes narrowed dangerously. "Is this some kind of joke? How is Alex the caretaker...no, the boss of this company, and I know nothing about it?"

Lucas looked just as shaken. "I’m as shocked as you are, boss," he admitted with a strained sigh. "I never expected his connections to run this deep. I thought he was just..."

"Just what?" Romeo snapped quietly.

Lucas hesitated.

Romeo’s expression darkened. "I want you to call the supervisor of this company right now. Tell him some lowlife is using his establishment to propose to a lover in the middle of business hours."
