Author Note: Thoughts on the Impending Launch
Author Note: Thoughts on the Impending Launch
It is time for another book to hit the shelves.
First, I would like to thank the readers who have supported me all this time.
Then, I want to thank myself for my persistent efforts.
For this book... I simply wanted to write a high-martial arts story with a street-level atmosphere, something more grounded in daily life.
I also hope to present something new to my old readers.
So far, I feel the writing is acceptable, and the reception has been decent, so I can breathe a sigh of relief.
Reviews in the comment section are currently mixed, featuring all kinds of opinions.
Many people dislike this kind of native protagonist, dislike a protagonist involved in gangs, or dislike a protagonist who lacks class... actually, none of these are problems.
Everyone has different tastes; this is normal.
But we must allow for the existence of different themes and styles. We cannot clamor about homogenization every day while refusing to tolerate a single book that does not align with our specific whims.
The soil that allows a hundred flowers to bloom is something we must all maintain together.
Some readers feel the protagonist lacks class... It is true. The protagonist is a bumpkin who grew up in the Walled City. He has never seen the world, his vision is narrow, and he possesses no lofty ideals.
From the start, he only thought about getting rich, buying luxury cars and mansions, and marrying a female celebrity.
People need to grow. Only when their horizons broaden will they think more and want more.
...
I am posting these thoughts a day early. There will be a normal update on Monday, and the book will launch at midnight on Tuesday. After the launch, I aim for daily updates of over 8,000 words.
I will do my best in this regard.
Finally, thank you all for your continued support.
