Lustful Demon King: Summoned by the Demon Goddesses!

Chapter 183: The Fairy Land!

Chapter 183: The Fairy Land!

Aelthira turned gracefully and stepped through the gateway, beckoning them to follow her as for a brief moment, the swirling curtain of green and golden light engulfed her wings, dissolving her form into shimmering particles.

Jax moved next. The instant he crossed the threshold, the world changed, as it felt as if he had stepped into a different layer of existence entirely.

The air itself was different. It was much purer than anything he had ever experienced. Just breathing this air made Jax feel healthier, more relaxed.

The mana was so dense and refined that even breathing it in carried a faint tingling sensation.

Behind him, Sabrina and Serika followed through the gateway, and the portal quietly sealed itself with a ripple of light once all three had entered.

Serika gasped almost immediately. Her ears perked upright and all three of her tails fluffed out in awe. As the weakest of the trio, the intensely dense mana benefited her the most out of everyone.

"W-wow..."

Even Sabrina, who rarely showed open surprise, raised her eyebrows slightly.

"...Impressive."

Jax simply observed silently.

The Faerie Realm stretched endlessly before them like a living painting brought to life.

The sky above was not the deep blue of the mortal world but instead a soft gradient of pale gold and lavender, as though dawn and dusk coexisted simultaneously.

Floating islands drifted slowly across the sky like massive clouds of emerald stone.

Crystal waterfalls poured from their edges, cascading downward in shimmering streams that dissolved into mist before touching the ground.

Below those floating islands spread an enormous forest unlike anything Jax had ever seen.

Trees the size of castles rose from the earth, their trunks glowing faintly with flowing veins of luminous sap. Their leaves shimmered in countless colors—emerald, sapphire, rose, and violet—changing hues with the gentle currents of wind.

Flowers the size of shields bloomed across the forest floor.

Some glowed softly and other flowers released drifting motes of light like floating fireflies.

Various different creatures moved among the foliage.

Delicate deer made of translucent crystal stepped gracefully through the grass. Birds with wings made of living flame darted between branches, leaving trails of golden sparks behind them.

Butterflies larger than hawks drifted lazily through the air.

And everywhere Jax’s eyes could see, there was Magic. Very powerful and natural magic that permeated throughout the entire environment.

Sabrina exhaled slowly.

"I see why they never bothered involving themselves in our wars."

Aelthira glanced back over her shoulder, smiling softly as she began to explain, "The Faerie Realm is separate from the conflicts of Terra. It’s been a foundation of our people since ancient times. The First Fae Queen made it a rule to not involve ourselves in the needless conflicts that go on in Terra, so we’ve mostly remained in our Dimension, though we occasionally conduct trade,"

Serika looked like she might faint from sensory overload. Her fox ears rotated constantly as she tried to take everything in, "I... I’ve never felt mana like this before..."

Aelthira nodded, "Our realm exists between the elemental layers of reality."

She extended one hand slightly, and a tiny sphere of floating water formed above her palm. It hovered for a moment before transforming into a fluttering butterfly made entirely of liquid.

"The elements answer us easily here."

Jax watched the display with interest as they continued walking along a winding path that curved through the forest. The ground beneath their feet was covered in soft moss that glowed faintly like moonlight.

As they moved deeper into the realm, the forest gradually grew more populated.

Faeries began appearing among the branches and pathways, each doing their own thing.

Some of them were perched atop enormous flowers while others hovered in the air with delicate wings beating softly.

They were exactly as Aelthira had appeared. All of the Faeries were tall and graceful, their wings coming in countless colors.

Each pair of wings carried unique patterns that shimmered when they moved. Many of them paused to watch the trio as they passed.

Curiosity radiated openly from their expressions.

Serika noticed the attention almost immediately.

"M-Master..."

Her voice dropped to a whisper.

"They’re staring..."

Sabrina smirked slightly.

"Well of course they are."

She glanced around calmly.

"The Demon King visiting their realm is probably the most exciting thing that has happened here in centuries."

Several faeries floated closer as they walked past.

Whispers drifted softly through the air.

"Is that him...?"

"The Demon King..."

"He doesn’t look frightening..."

"Look at the fox-kin..."

Serika’s face turned red again. Her tails tried to hide behind her dress as her ears twitched from shyness.

Jax, meanwhile, remained completely calm, just continuing to observe everything, from the terrain to the mana flow.

The Faerie Realm was far larger than he expected. It was basically an entire world in an of itself, and the dimensional magic needed for this would need an astronomical, basically godly level of power, which intrigued Jax.

No wonder they could remain neutral forever, as they definitely had their own extremely powerful deities.

After several minutes of walking, the forest began to thin. The path opened into a vast valley and at the center of that valley was the Royal Palace of the Fae.

It did not resemble any castle Jax had seen in Terra.

Rather than being constructed from stone, the palace appeared to have grown directly from nature itself. Towering crystalline trees formed the palace’s pillars.

Their branches curved gracefully to create enormous archways and domes. Bridges made of living vines connected floating platforms suspended in the air. Waterfalls flowed gently between terraces filled with glowing gardens.

The entire structure shimmered like a living sculpture.

Soft golden light radiated from within its halls.

Sabrina folded her arms as she studied it.

"...Well."

"That’s certainly a statement."

Serika’s eyes sparkled.

"It’s beautiful..."

Aelthira slowed slightly as they approached the palace gates.

Two enormous guardians stood there. Both were towering faeries nearly seven feet tall with massive wings resembling stained glass.

Each carried a spear made from pure crystal. They bowed slightly as Aelthira approached.

"Keeper Aelthira."

She nodded politely.

"The guests have arrived."

The guardians stepped aside immediately.

The gates opened silently.

Aelthira turned back toward Jax.

"The Queen is expecting you."

Jax nodded.

"Lead the way."

They stepped through the entrance and entered the palace interior.

Inside, the architecture became even more breathtaking.

The floors were formed from smooth crystal that reflected the surrounding light like water.

Columns shaped like twisting vines stretched upward into ceilings that shimmered like the night sky.

Streams of glowing water flowed gently through the halls, feeding gardens filled with exotic flowers.

Faeries moved gracefully throughout the palace.

Some wore elegant robes of woven petals.

Others wore armor made from polished bark and crystal.

Everywhere they went, the same quiet curiosity followed them.

Sabrina leaned slightly closer to Jax as they walked.

"They’re definitely interested in you."

"Understandable."

Serika whispered.

"I think I just saw someone take notes..."

Jax chuckled quietly.

After several more corridors and ascending platforms, they finally reached the highest terrace of the palace.

At the center of that terrace stood a grand hall.

Massive doors carved from luminous wood slowly opened as Aelthira approached.

Inside waited the Throne Room of the Faerie Queen.

The chamber was vast.

Sunlight streamed through towering crystal windows, casting rainbow reflections across the polished floor.

And at the far end of the hall sitting on a throne grown from a colossal white tree was the Faerie Queen.
