Lustful Demon King: Summoned by the Demon Goddesses!

Chapter 181: A Shock Invitation!

Chapter 181: A Shock Invitation!

Jax moved silently through the corridors of the fortress, his invisible form slipping past patrols of paladins and junior knights who would never realize how close the Demon King had come to them.

Behind him, the training arena echoed with the clash of steel and bursts of divine magic as the four remaining heroes continued their relentless drills.

Killian’s voice carried faintly through the corridor.

"Again!"

Jax didn’t look back as he had already learned what he needed. Their strength had grown and their coordination had improved, but their mindset was still the exact same one holding them back.

While they had more suspicions about the Church, they still let themselves believe what they wanted, such as their belief that Natasha was a victim and Alexi would be too.

That the Demon King would brainwash them and soon with their consistent improvements in strength that they would rescue them.

Jax’s lips curved slightly as he stepped through another wall and emerged outside the fortress perimeter once again.

The afternoon sun hung high above the capital of Lumeria, bathing the white marble towers of the Church in golden light.

He dismissed his invisibility spell and resumed the appearance of a simple human traveler walking down the street.

Just another passerby among thousands. He had taken barely ten steps when a faint ripple brushed against his senses.

It was a familiar magical signature. Jax stopped as a small flicker of purple light appeared beside his shoulder.

Then the light expanded and formed into a tiny winged creature no larger than his palm, a familiar. The small creature hovered beside his head, its translucent wings beating rapidly.

Its voice carried directly into his mind.

"Master Jax."

Jax raised an eyebrow.

"Sabrina."

The familiar nodded.

"The Succubus Saintess wishes to speak with you immediately."

Jax’s expression sharpened slightly. Sabrina rarely interrupted him unless something significant had happened.

"What is it?"

"Urgent business has arisen in the capital."

Jax glanced briefly toward the towering cathedral behind him before turning toward a quiet alley.

"Explain."

"I cannot," the familiar replied politely. "Lady Sabrina insisted that you return personally."

Jax studied the small creature for a moment.

Then he nodded once.

"Understood."

The familiar vanished in a puff of violet light.

Jax exhaled slowly.

"Well," he murmured.

"So much for further observation."

He stepped deeper into the alleyway and then reality folded again as he returned to the Capital of the Demon Kingdom.

Jax reappeared inside the royal palace itself. Servants and guards immediately knelt as his presence became known.

"Your Majesty."

Jax acknowledged them with a brief nod before walking directly toward the throne chamber.

The massive doors opened before he even reached them. Sabrina was already waiting. The Succubus Saintess stood beside the long strategy table at the center of the chamber, her tall figure draped in elegant dark robes that emphasized her confident posture.

Her crimson eyes lifted as Jax entered.

"There you are."

Jax approached her calmly.

"You sounded urgent."

Sabrina nodded.

"It is."

Her expression carried something unusual, a special kind of intrigue that also made Jax curious. He leaned slightly against the edge of the table.

"What happened?"

Sabrina didn’t answer immediately.

Instead, she lifted one hand and waved it lightly. A glowing magical sigil appeared above the table. Inside it floated a swirling sphere of shimmering green light that emitted a very special kind of aura.

Jax’s eyes narrowed slightly.

"That energy..."

Sabrina nodded slowly.

"Yes."

She folded her arms beneath her chest.

"You’ve been contacted."

"By whom?"

Sabrina’s lips curved faintly.

"The Faeries."

Jax blinked.

For perhaps the first time that day, genuine surprise crossed his face.

"...The Fae?"

"Yes."

Jax straightened slightly.

That was unexpected.

The Faeries were one of the oldest races in existence. Ancient and very mysterious. Unlike basically every other species, they were completely detatched from the political conflicts of the world, which made them essentially useless to focus on.

Unlike the demon clans or the human kingdoms, the Fae did not live in a fixed territory. They resided within a moving dimension that constantly shifted across the boundaries of reality.

A hidden realm that no outsider could enter without direct invitation.

The Fae themselves were notoriously avoidant. In the Demon-Holy War, they did not align with the Church of Light, nor did they ally with the Demon Kingdom.

They simply existed for themselves, observing things from afar and living their own lives.

Which made this... extremely unusual.

"They contacted us?" Jax asked.

Sabrina nodded again.

"This arrived about an hour ago."

She gestured toward the floating green sphere.

Jax stepped closer.

Inside the glowing orb, swirling runes of unfamiliar script moved slowly in circular patterns. Faerie magic. Ancient and elegant.

"What did they say?"

Sabrina tapped the sphere lightly.

The runes shifted instantly, reorganizing themselves into a simple message written in universal magical language.

A set of coordinates.

Jax’s eyes sharpened.

"That’s..."

"Yes," Sabrina said.

"If I’m correct, that is the location of their dimension."

Jax stared at the glowing runes for several seconds. That alone was extraordinary. The Fae revealing the entrance to their realm was something that would usually never happen.

"Why?" he asked.

Sabrina shook her head.

"They didn’t explain."

She tapped the message again.

Another line of runes appeared beneath the coordinates.

A short message.

"Demon King Jax.

You are invited.

Come with respect.

Come soon."

Jax read it twice.

Then he chuckled softly.

"Well."

Sabrina tilted her head.

"You’re amused?"

"A little."

He folded his arms.

"The most secretive race in existence just invited me to visit them."

Sabrina smiled slightly.

"They also specifically addressed you as Demon King."

Jax nodded.

"They’re well informed."

That alone told him something important.

The Fae were watching the war.

Closely.

Sabrina studied him carefully.

"So... what do you want to do?"

Jax didn’t hesitate.

"We go."

Sabrina raised an eyebrow.

"Immediately?"

"Yes."

He turned away from the table and began walking toward the chamber doors.

"The Fae rarely reach out to anyone."

"And when they do," Sabrina added thoughtfully, "it usually means something significant is about to happen."

Jax nodded.

"Exactly."

He stopped near the doorway.

"Sabrina."

"Yes?"

"Prepare yourself."

Her crimson eyes brightened slightly.

"You’re bringing me?"

"Of course."

Jax glanced over his shoulder.

"You’re my chief strategist."

Sabrina smirked.

"Flattery will get you everywhere."

He continued walking.

"And bring Serika."

Sabrina blinked once.

"The fox-kin maid?"

"Yes."

Jax’s tone was casual but firm.

"She needs to get some fresh air," Jax said, opening the massive doors of the Throne Room.

"We leave later today."
