Chapter 133: Let’s Return The Stag To The Forest
The king lowered his face, and Arielle accepted the kiss gently. The girl was able to return the kiss well, although sometimes it was still a bit awkward.
Ronan wanted to make love to Arielle again, but before he could make his advances, there was a knock on his bedroom door. Ronan tried to ignore it, but Arielle kept pushing his body away.
"Someone is waiting for you," she said gently.
"But you are more important."
Arielle shook her head. "We are indeed lovers. But before I became your lover, you were a king who had great responsibilities. We still have time together later. Didn’t you say earlier that we will spend time together until the end of life? So don’t worry, I’ll always be here for you."
Ronan was deeply moved by Arielle’s words. He nodded in understanding. "Okay."
Ronan got up from his bed. Likewise, Arielle now chose to sit waiting for the man to talk to someone outside the room.
The king closed the bedroom door behind him. He didn’t want anyone to see how adorable Arielle was in his oversized black tunic. He crossed his arms, waiting for Lucas and William to take turns talking.
"This is a dress for Princess Arielle, Your Majesty. Tania can’t bring it because she’s too tired after serving Prince Alexis and Princess Andrea for a few days," Lucas said, bringing a thick dark green dress.
"Let me take it," he said.
Now Ronan turned to William. One of his eyebrows raised to see the red stains on the man’s white clothes.
"You have a strange sense of fashion," said Ronan, making William grunt in annoyance.
"Earlier, there was a madman who shouted loudly and shocked me to the point of spilling the wine I was drinking!" he said, rolling his eyes..
Mad man? Ronan furrowed his brows. Not long after he realized who the madman William meant.
"Why did you come here?" he cleared his throat and asked the purpose of William knocking on his room.
"You left your work at the office," William said pitifully.
"I’m having an important conversation with Arielle," the king answered with a shrug.
Now, it was William’s turn to sigh in annoyance. He wanted to say more. However, this time, he was self-aware enough not to upset the king. What important conversation did they have to ask for a new change of clothes for Arielle?
William prayed that Princess Arielle could be given the strength to face this one monster. He hoped the gentle girl wouldn’t have have a bad experience on her first night with the king.
"So, what do you want to say? That’s all?" asked Ronan, annoyed.
William shook his head. "About the stag release that we discussed yesterday. Would Princess Arielle come along? Because we are going to the forest to release it now."
Ronan thought for a moment. He remembered Arielle’s enthusiasm when talking about the deer. Yesterday, Arielle said she wanted to help send the deer to the forest, but Ronan still wanted to be with her.
Ronan couldn’t be selfish. He couldn’t keep Arielle in his room forever.
"Okay, I will go with Arielle," answered Ronan briefly.
Thus the man chased Lucas and William away at the same time. He went back into his room. Arielle was still waiting on the bed. Ronan’s smile was bloomed when he saw Riel leaning on Arielle’s legs, dangling on the edge of the bed.
"We will return the deer to the forest. Are you coming?" asked Ronan.
The girl’s face instantly became beamed in happiness. Arielle clapped her hands excitedly.
"I want to come!" she said excitedly. "Yes!"
"Okay, then we have to change first," Ronan said as he held out the dress Lucas had brought for Arielle.

Arielle was accompanied by Ronan, William, and several other knights to release the stag back to the forest. The king had promised to return the stag to the forest, as their natural habitat. Arielle did not interact much with the stag, just once this morning, before the mess the bunny made playing with mud.
Now, Arielle sat on the king’s horse. Ronan occasionally glanced back to make sure the stag was trailing behind with the rope around its neck, not too tight. William rode his horse behind the deer with three other knights to keep the deer moving forward.
Their journey was long enough because Arielle advised them not to force the stag to run after them. So the group adjusted their speed to the stag’s pace.
The closer they were to the forest, the snow began to fall little by little. Ronan tugged Arielle’s chin, she was sitting in front of him, to look up.
"Are you cold?" the man asked.
Arielle shook her head slowly.
"This coat is quite warm. I’ll be fine," she replied.
Arielle didn’t want the man to worry too much. She was wearing warmer clothes than usual. Living in the North made Arielle inevitably learn to adapt to the weather there.
At first, Arielle was not comfortable with the cold temperatures of the North that seemed never ended, but after following their style of dress, Arielle no longer hated the cold. She could even last longer outside the palace without a fireplace.
The girl looked around her carefully. They had moved away from the capital, so people’s houses were increasingly rare and far from each other. Arielle looked back. Northendell palace also seemed very far away.
The palace was located on a plateau surrounded by many white-leafed pine trees, and then there was the bustle of the capital city below. Arielle frowned when she saw the city lights starting to turn on even though it was still afternoon. Maybe because it was already dark as it was snowing.
Arielle looked up and saw the grey sky above her. There were no white clouds but just a vast expanse of grey with white snowflakes falling slowly. There was no visible sign of the sun as if there was a thin layer hiding the light source.
