Chapter 618: I Like Your Bad Temper and All Your Little Flaws

"Don’t you think it’s funny?"

Shen Cheng stopped laughing, but her brows and eyes were still smiling. Her lips, painted with rose-colored lipstick, were slightly curved, blending sensuality with a touch of allure.

Shi Yu’s Adam’s apple moved slightly, and a layer of heat quickly covered the bottom of his eyes.

He answered.

Shen Cheng tapped the goblet lightly with her fingertips, "Didn’t she just say it? She’s your uncle’s daughter, which makes her your cousin."

"She’s adopted."

As he said this, Shi Yu was calm, with no change in expression on his face as if discussing something irrelevant to himself.

The fingers tapping on the glass paused.

"But she said there’s a blood relation between you two."

Shi Keke had said this just a while ago clearly, so when Shen Cheng heard Shi Yu mention this, she merely repeated the line in a narrative tone.

Shi Yu glanced in a direction and then opened his mouth leisurely, "Because she doesn’t know about it."

Hearing this, Shen Cheng couldn’t help but laugh, "Since she doesn’t know, then it’s easier to handle. At least so far, she hasn’t harbored any wrong intentions towards you. And before she knows that she was adopted, she definitely won’t develop any feelings for you."

Shi Yu narrowed his eyes while looking at her, his gaze filled with a hint of admiration.

Shen Cheng, however, completely ignored the sound he made and continued, "I admit Shi Keke is a very special woman, and I don’t deny she’s an impressive woman, but so what?"
