"Killing people this easily, Young Master Jue, you’re too cruel." Su Jiuyi said, getting out of the car and closing the door.

Shi Aoju leaned against the car and watched her, his deep eyes like an unfathomable ocean, capable of swallowing someone whole without them even realizing it.

Su Jiuyi held his gaze for a few seconds and was about to look away when she heard him say, "If I hear those words ’Young Master Jue’ again, I’ll show you what true cruelty is."

"You know what to call me," Shi Aoju said calmly.

"What should I call you...?" Su Jiuyi wasn’t feigning ignorance; she genuinely didn’t know what to call him. Calling him Young Master Jue seemed too distant, calling him Jue too intimate, and saying Shi Aoju felt indescribable.
