Chapter 935: Her Most Beautiful Memory Is Meeting Him

Feng Rao took the bandage and skillfully wrapped it around him, but she couldn’t help asking, "Master, was that the future mistress just now?"

"En," Nangong Jin curled his lips into a slight smile and casually affirmed.

Feng Rao’s fingertips trembled, and her face turned somewhat pale instantaneously.

After two seconds of silence, she offered a sheepish smile, "I didn’t expect the master to have a beloved too."

Nangong Jin didn’t reply but asked instead, "Done yet?"

"Almost," Feng Rao answered.

"En, then hurry up, I want to go to sleep."

Frowning, Feng Rao knew that Nangong Jin didn’t want to continue this topic, so she simply nodded, "Alright, I understand."

After the bandaging was completed, Nangong Jin went to the wardrobe to get his pajamas, and Feng Rao watched his perfectly sculpted back and the majestic and enchanting dragon tattoo, her eyes dimming slightly.

Nangong Jin put on his pajamas, and when he saw Feng Rao still standing there, he couldn’t help but frown, "You’re still here?"

"Master." Feng Rao raised her eyes to his exquisitely beautiful face and opened her mouth as if to say something.

But Nangong Jin, as if he hadn’t seen her, elegantly yawned and lazily said, "Go on back, I need to rest."

With no other choice, Feng Rao respectfully lowered her head, "Yes, Master."

Feng Rao exited the room with her eyes downcast, closing the door behind her, her heart aching in waves.

All these years, the man’s face had never been cold, yet in truth, he kept everyone at a great distance.

All these years, she had been by his side, but he had never truly looked at her.

Had he not realized that she had grown up?

She was no longer the pitiful little girl he had picked up and brought back to the headquarters.

She had been by his side for ten years.

For all these years, her most precious memory was of that year, that day, when he had found her.

She was an orphan, raised in an orphanage, and at twelve years old, still not adopted. Not wanting to stay in the orphanage any longer, she ran away.

But being too young, she could barely survive in society and almost got tricked into becoming a child... worker.

She had barely managed to escape, but she didn’t dare to trust anyone anymore, nor did she venture into any so-called work.

When she tried to return to the orphanage, they drove her away, claiming that her spot had been filled long ago. Out of desperation, she began to wander the streets.

To survive, she resorted to scavenging through trash bins for food, often finding some thrown out by a particular place.

So, she would always head there.

She didn’t know at the time that it was the headquarters of his Netherworld Pavilion.

Several times, she saw him step out of a dazzling sports car, wearing a white windbreaker. Despite being only sixteen, a youth in full bloom, he still brightened her entire existence.

The first time she laid eyes on him, she thought, how could there be such a beautiful boy in this world?

Perhaps it was her pitiable appearance that caught his attention because on the fifth encounter, he stopped in his tracks.

She was rummaging through a trash bin when a pair of shining leather boots appeared in front of her, prompting her to lift her dirty little face.

His jade-like, radiant face came into her view, followed by a pale, strong hand extended towards her. She saw him smile, a stunningly beautiful smile, like that of an angel.

He spoke with a voice so ornate it enchanted, asking her, "Sweetheart, do you want to eat your fill?"

She was stunned, wanting to shake her head, but he was too handsome, his smile too brilliant, with not a hint of malice, as if by some inexplicable magic, irresistibly compelling her to trust him. So she quickly nodded feverishly.
