Nangong Jin cleared his throat twice, but couldn’t help chuckling, finally having smoothly cleared the first hurdle.
He lifted his gaze towards Di Jinxuan, and his slender peach blossom eyes brimmed with unbidden tenderness.
Di Jinxuan knitted her brows, what the hell was going on?
The momentum had been bordering on a fight just a moment ago, and suddenly, everyone seemed to have made up?

"I want to talk to you for a moment," Nangong Jin turned around, his long, seductive peach blossom eyes unwaveringly locked onto her face.
"I have nothing to talk about with you," Di Jinxuan tried hard to pull her hand free.
But he gripped even tighter, his gaze on her deepening, and the corners of his lips lifted in a light smile, still with a hint of rascality.
He began to speak, with a gorgeous voice tinged with sensuality and temptation, yet mixed with a depth never before present. "Di Jinxuan, perhaps I’ve never taken things seriously before, but this time, I want to. Would you be willing to take it seriously with me?"
He asked very directly, and spoke very sincerely.
Di Jinxuan’s brows suddenly furrowed; did that one sentence sum up everything?
Never serious before, but now wanting to be?
And he was asking if she would be willing to be serious with him?
Be serious about what?
Di Jinxuan looked into his eyes, which were so lustrous they made her heart race, feeling bewildered.
This side of him, it seemed, really, truly breathtaking, and deeply stirring.
But, what did he want to be serious about with her?
"Serious about what?" Di Jinxuan blurted out without thinking.
"Serious about every day from now on," Nangong Jin replied calmly, still looking at her, with tenderness in his eyes, which was unheard of until now.
He admitted, at first, he hadn’t thought about being serious, including when he kissed her.
But, sometimes things turn out this way; what you start out curious about, just wanting to play with, suddenly becomes an obsession.
