Chapter 824: Acting Like a Spoiled Young Lady Again

"Oh crap, you’re scaring me!"

Nangong Ran was startled and hastened, "Gu Xiaoqi, you absolutely cannot talk nonsense like that. Your life is so good, so blessed. You have everything you want, including a man who lets you do whatever you want. You really shouldn’t speak such ominous words."

"But why do you think I feel this way?" Gu Qibao frowned worriedly, "Anyway, I think I might be sick."

"This is what we’ll do," Nangong Ran pondered, "Let’s check in at school first, then go to the hospital to have a look."

"I don’t want to go, I’m scared," Gu Qibao said cautiously.

It was obvious that she was very nervous.

Truthfully, she really was quite scared; just as Nangong Ran had said, her life was so wonderful that perhaps even the heavens were jealous, maybe they would afflict her with some tragic terminal illness or something like that.

"What’s there to be afraid of? If you really are sick, then we’ll just get treatment," Nangong Ran comforted her, "Come on, stop dawdling, we’re going to be late for class."

"Okay." Gu Qibao nodded and left with Nangong Ran in the car.

On the way to school, she was filled with worry, suddenly feeling as if she were suffering from depression.

How had she suddenly turned out this way?

Really, she was particularly scared.

The two checked in at school, and Gu Qibao decided to take a leave, given her bad mood anyway.

Nangong Ran stayed with her, preparing to go to the hospital together.

But as they had just walked a few steps out of the classroom, someone called out to her. Turning her head, she saw it was Di Jinxuan.

"Gu Xiaoqi, what’s the deal with you and my big brother?" Di Jinxuan came forward and asked, quite directly.

"What do you mean, ’what’s the deal’?" Gu Qibao furrowed her brows, somewhat confused. Could Di Jinxuan know that they had argued?

"Did you know my big brother didn’t sleep at all last night?" Di Jinxuan also furrowed her brows, staring straight at Gu Qibao’s face, "He said you despise him!"

"I didn’t!" Gu Qibao felt aggrieved and bewildered, "When did I ever despise him? It’s him who despises me!"

"My big brother despises you?" Di Jinxuan pouted, "Gu Qibao, you should be more decent as a person. I’m hurt by what you’re saying, and no one would believe it if you said it out loud. My big brother despising you? It’s more likely you despising and bullying him."

Hearing Di Jinxuan say this, Gu Qibao immediately felt annoyed, glaring at Di Jinxuan, "You siblings really are strange. Your big brother was freaking out this morning, and now you’re freaking out too. What’s this about me despising him? When did I ever imply that? And what do you mean by saying I bully him?

It’s as if I really have been bullying him. I’ve never bullied him; it’s always been him bullying me! Do you guys have something against me? If you have something to say, just say it directly. Don’t keep picking on me. I’m kind of dumb and foolish; I don’t understand anything you’re saying!"

Upon hearing her words, Di Jinxuan immediately felt annoyed, "In all fairness, how has my big brother treated you? How could he ever despise or bully you, the one picking fights is you, right? Are you finding my big brother old, displeasing to the eye, deliberately picking fights with him?"

Gu Qibao rolled her eyes, "I don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t want to deal with this."

After saying this, she turned and walked away, leaving Di Jinxuan looking bewildered and confused, extremely aggrieved, she couldn’t help but complain to Nangong Ran, "Why is Gu Xiaoqi throwing a diva tantrum again?"

Nangong Ran was also in a difficult spot, as Gu Qibao had strictly instructed him earlier not to tell anyone she might be sick.

So Nangong Ran quickly tried to smooth things over, "It’s nothing, maybe she didn’t have a satisfying breakfast this morning. I’ll walk with her for a bit, you go back to your classroom."

After saying this, Nangong Ran also left.
