A little poised, she stared at the words "Jin’s Brother" without comprehending.

While still in a trance, her phone rang. Looking at it, she saw Nangong Jin was calling.

Before she could say anything, Nangong Jin’s voice came through with his usual teasing flavour, "Little Xuanxuan, why suddenly adding Gege? Are you missing Gege?"

There was a bit of background noise from his side. It wasn’t very quiet, it seemed like he was at a karaoke place, there was always music playing.

There was also a woman’s singing voice which wasn’t very loud, so she couldn’t hear what she was singing clearly, but she could tell that the voice was beautiful and humming softly.

But Nangong Jin’s voice came over very clearly. His gorgeous voice sounded penetrating and appealing with a particular magnetism. Besides the slight huskiness which sounded like his voice after drinking, it sounded exceptionally charming.

Di Jinxuan frowned, feeling a bit speechless, but blurted out, "Where are you?"

Perhaps because she asked somewhat anxiously, Nangong Jin fell silent for two seconds. Finally, he chuckled low and huskily, then spoke gently, "Baby, are you really missing me? If you just say you really miss me, I’ll come right back."

"No." Di Jinxuan answered instinctively, "Ranran said she couldn’t reach you. She’s really worried that something might have happened to you?"

The ambiguous singing of a woman faintly passed. Di Jinxuan frowned deeper and retorted, "Whether or not something happens to you has nothing to do with me."

There was silence on the other end of the line. Nangong Jin kept quiet, then after a few seconds, he said in a dull tone, "Xuanxuan, you really are bad to say such a thing. Don’t you know that speaking in this way hurts Gege’s heart?"

Di Jinxuan ignored him and said directly, "If nothing happened, I’m hanging up."

"You hang up first." Nangong Jin’s voice regained some seriousness, but he ended by laughing, "Don’t forget about Gege, okay?"

After speaking, he sent her a red heart emoji.
