"No worries, no worries." Gu Qibao hastily soothed Nangong Ran, "We’re here after all! Speaking of which, Sister Xiaxia, whose side are you on?"

"Obviously, I’m team Jinxuan." Di Xiaxia declared self-righteously.

Nangong Ran chuckled, "But if he’s brave enough to tell my mom directly, he must be serious. Otherwise, my mom would chase him to the ends of the earth."

"Right." Gu Qibao nodded, "We’re just gossiping after all. It’s better to keep our noses out of these things. I believe in Jinxuan."

The three of them talked and laughed their way to the cafeteria. Di Jinxuan was already at the entrance, complaining about their tardiness, "Did you three go rob a house together or what? You guys are ten minutes late!"

Gu Qibao smiled mischievously, "We didn’t rob houses, but we might have considered luring innocent girls."

Di Jinxuan blinked, becoming visibly excited, "Who do you plan on luring?"

Her reaction made Gu Qibao laugh. He chuckled, "Sorry, can’t spill the beans."

A confused look spread across Di Jinxuan’s face. She turned to Nangong Ran, who also proclaimed smugly, "Can’t tell you. Can’t tell."

Curiosity piqued, Di Jinxuan widened her eyes and pulled Di Xiaxia to her side, "Sis, what’s the secret you won’t tell me about? This isn’t fair, you’ll lose me, you know!"

Di Xiaxia scratched her head, stumbling over her words before managing to divert the question, "Don’t listen to their nonsense, they’re just messing with you."

"Oh, really?" Di Jinxuan scratched her head, "For a moment there, I thought there was some major gossip!"

The four of them made their way to the cafeteria, ordered their meals, and settled in a VIP booth. This booth required an extra fee, but that didn’t bother them at all.

The food was served quickly - all dishes they loved. Soon, they started to enjoy their meal.

Out of the blue, Nangong Ran mused, "Sigh, I don’t know what’s gotten into my mom. She’s now arranging blind dates for all of my siblings! I mean, it’s one thing to set up dates for my eldest brother, second sister, and third brother, but why include me? I’m still so young."

"Pfft..." Di Xiaxia nearly spat out her food on hearing Nangong Ran’s words.

Gu Qibao also nearly choked on his food but continued the conversation seamlessly, "Really? Your mom is rushing things too much."
