The nurse was thoroughly scared by his demeanor, to the point where she was almost reduced to tears.
She felt a sour sensation in her nose, overwhelmed by a sense of unfairness.
In her eyes, the Vice President always held a superior position, yet he was approachable and kind.
Although he usually held a placid and indifferent demeanor, he was undeniably warm and amiable on the whole.
They measured Di Mingzhe’s blood pressure and checked his health every day; he was always cooperative.
He would even sometimes engage them in conversation, incredibly approachable with a voice that was immensely pleasing to the ear.
They had never seen him lose his temper; any person or situation seemed unable to stir him. Quiet and elegant, like a prince who had stepped out of a comic strip, dignified and extraordinary, outstanding and remarkable.
But now, he had raised his voice at her!
He even told her to leave.
Those two simple words mixed with a cool, commanding anger that unreasonably struck fear into the hearts of those who heard, making them afraid of him.
But the girl who had been lying on the bed had such a bad attitude towards him, yet he didn’t say a word in retaliation!
The nurse felt immensely aggrieved but didn’t dare to say anything more and just threw Xiaxia a resentful glare.
Just as Di Mingzhe commanded her to leave, Xiaxia opened her eyes. The nurse gave her a glare, which she clearly saw.
However, she chose to ignore it.
Xiaxia turned her head to look at Di Mingzhe with an expressionless face and said without mercy, "You, leave too."
Di Mingzhe was taken aback, and his striking face turned cold, making him appear even more worn out.
But in the end he didn’t say anything, just stood up from his chair as though he was really preparing to leave.
Looking at him now, he seemed sort of sad, a bit aggrieved, and as if he couldn’t bear losing face.
Because the nurse who hadn’t yet left the room was looking at him in surprise.
Her heart must be shattered and her perception of him was in complete ruins!
In all of Empire, there was only one person who dared to command the vice president in this way, and that was surely the President!
But now, she had done the same.
She didn’t know why, but there was an uncomfortable feeling gnawing at her yet somehow Xiaxia really, really didn’t want to pay attention to him!

Di Mingzhe was a super crafty, sly, and mischievous type (The meaning of crafty here is the kind of bad that does wicked things in underhanded ways, literally meaning sneaky. It can be understood as being black-hearted, but even worse.)
The two nurses standing to the side became open-mouthed with astonishment, they never expected that the Vice President would truly get up and prepare to leave in silence.
Looking at his current outfit made them even more dumbfounded, a simple T-shirt and casual pants, and on his feet, the oversized slippers that had been hastily brought to him last night!
When had the Vice President ever appeared at the Presidential Residence in this kind of attire?
Never, absolutely never; he was always in formal attire looking absolutely impeccable!
Although they had always been curious about and wanted to see what the Vice President dressed like in private.
But the current scenario didn’t seem right. Why was it that his current outfit, even though it was so attractive it made them want to lick the screen, for some reason filled their hearts with empathy?
His desolate aura gave off a feeling of overflowing motherly love, making them want to comfort him.
Thus, both nurses were filled with a sense of indignation towards Xiaxia, hating her deeply. How dare she treat their beloved Vice President in such a way!
