Di Mingzhe’s eyebrows furrowed even more, looking like a deep wrinkle mark. Just as he was about to step forward, Di Xiaxia limped out.

He withdrew the foot he’d lifted to go towards her.

"Impressive speed." Nangong Jin watched her, exhaling a ring of smoke. The swirling smoke framed his thin lips, with his peach blossom eyes slightly narrowed, he looked extraordinarily enticing.

Di Xiaxia grinned and hopped to wash her hands.

Nangong Jin also smirked, took a hard puff, and gazed at her beautiful reflection in the mirror.

He was much taller than Di Xiaxia, who only reached his chin.

Di Xiaxia paused, her eyes met the mirror reflecting their exquisite faces.

He stood behind her, as if he was about to embrace her.

"Xiaxia..." Nangong Jin suddenly blurted out, with a low and raspy voice that was undeniably seductive.

Di Xiaxia slightly furrowed her brows, "Hm?"

Nangong Jin watched her in the mirror, a teasing smile at his lips. "I never noticed before how much you’ve grown."

Di Xiaxia rolled her eyes. What a fresh remark.

She turned around, flashing a playful smile. Given their proximity, she had to tilt her head back slightly to look at Nangong Jin’s androgynous face, "Brother Jin, since when did you become such a flirt?"

Nangong Jin suddenly burst into laughter, his lovely lips curled up, seeming a bit defeated yet helpless, he humorously responded, "I’m just getting old."

Nangong Jin didn’t see it but felt someone behind him, so he turned around.

"Big Brother." Both called out in unison.

Di Mingzhe’s strong eyebrows immediately furrowed, he didn’t enjoy this feeling.

Di Mingzhe glanced them twice, his icy gaze imposing an unspeakable dignity. In a cold, deep voice, he asked, "What are you two up to? Stop with the nonsense."

"We were using the bathroom." Di Xiaxia explained.

"Are you done?" Di Mingzhe raised an eyebrow.

"Yep." Di Xiaxia nodded, "Big brother, did you also come to use the restroom?"

"I came to call Nangong Jin for a game of mahjong." Di Mingzhe nonchalantly turned to Nangong Jin.

Nangong Jin slightly narrowed his eyes, he felt that big brother’s gaze was somewhat less than friendly.

However, he didn’t say much, just nodded in agreement, "Sure, do we need to make a four?"

"Yes." Di Mingzhe simply replied then held out his hand to Di Xiaxia, "Let’s go."

Di Xiaxia hesitated for a moment, but finally took Di Mingzhe’s hand. She didn’t dare to defy her big brother!

She felt something was off about him, his overall atmosphere was subdued, she didn’t dare to go against his wishes.

Nangong Jin watched the two leave, and lit a cigarette, finding the situation quite amusing.
