"Our home?" Di Jinxuan murmured quietly, looking up around her. The villa had a castle-like structure with a deeply romantic aura, resembling something out of a fairytale town.
Right across from the villa was the natural lake. Though the villa had yet to be decorated, its architectural style was absolutely beautiful and imposing.
A surge of emotion overtook Di Jinxuan’s heart. Was she also going to have a home?
An independent one that belonged to her alone.
And there she would be free, and happy. Somehow, she found herself yearning for it.
"Do you like it here, my dear wife?" Nangong Jin asked, looking towards her.
"I like it," Di Jinxuan nodded. She had no reason not to.
"That’s good to hear," Nangong Jin smiled, softly caressing her cheek. "If you didn’t like it, we could choose somewhere else."
"No, this place is great," Di Jinxuan replied, but couldn’t help asking, "When was this developed? Why is there only one villa?"
"Of course there’s only one," Nangong Jin teased her nose. "Because your husband bought this place."
"Ah?" Di Jinxuan’s eyes widened, she stammered, "This, isn’t this a bit too extravagant?"
"What’s so extravagant about it?" Nangong Jin raised his eyebrow, speaking earnestly, "Wife, you are a dancer, you need inspiration and closeness to nature. Buying this place and turning it into a garden area is also our enterprise, we couldn’t possibly lose."
His reasoning made sense, and Di Jinxuan nodded, but still felt it was a bit exaggerated.
To buy a lake just to build a house!
Even though it seemed extravagant, she felt incredibly sweet inside.
